Brothers Grove
During our stay at Brother’s Grove my husband and I opted to set up camp at the edge of the property near the water. The camping plot came equipped with a fire ring, picnic table, and charcoal grill. There were also several good spots to pitch a tent and set up a hammock.
The grounds of Brother’s Grove are flat and back up to water slightly off the property. As you enter the property, you’ll pass some farm animals as you make your way to the designated camping area. A pleasant breeze and abundance of shade in the camping area made for
perfect napping conditions in our hammock, even on a very hot summer’s day.
Brother’s Grove provided a welcomed rest after exploring Astoria and the local area. For a simple, minimalist Hipcamp close to Astoria and other wonderful local attractions, Brother’s Grove is a nice candidate.

Mike was nice and friendly, lots a deer, chicken and goats. Very close to town. Kind of a rural residential neighborhood. Views coming in where beautiful. Cannon beach and Hug point about 40 minutes south. I do wish I would have been suggested by the owner to stay in a spot that wasn't such intense deep mud and had a loop I could get my little trailer out of. He very kindly pulled my trailer from the mud when it was time to leave but it wasn't pretty and now red slime is coming out of my trailer wheel.

This was as great space only a few miles from town. It is not as well marked as the description says. The mailbox across the street he uses for reference is your best marker and then know the driveway is not paved. There is no sign stating this is the campsite. Michael was awesome with communication though and was waiting for us, so any confusion was quickly cleared up. Heads up if you need cell service, we have Verizon and this is a dead zone. Two bars for text messages if you’re lucky.

Michael was a wonderful host and the area was perfect! We were so grateful to have a cozy home base today pull in for three nights. Stars were amazing, water was delicious, ground was level!

Brothers Grove
We had a great stay, beautiful location, nice alternative to crowded campgrounds. Michael was the perfect host, quickly answered inquiries before we arrived and while there, checked in to make sure we had what we needed. Will definitely be back!

Michael is very nice, welcoming and accommodating. Great place to spend time. There’s a bunch of water access around, we kayaked. Farm animals, valley vistas, and waterways are abundant!
