A.W. Jack Morgan Park and Campground stands out as a serene eleven-acre retreat nestled along both sides of State Highway 229, conveniently located at mile marker 17.5. This unique campground offers visitors a blend of natural beauty and recreational opportunities, making it an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts. On the west side of the highway, you'll find a concrete boat ramp that provides easy access to the Siletz River, renowned for its excellent fishing. Anglers can cast their lines for Chinook and Steelhead, while kayakers and swimmers can enjoy the refreshing waters during the summer months. The area also features concrete vault restrooms and a picnic area equipped with tables, perfect for a relaxing day by the river. Crossing over to the east side of the highway, the campground reveals a collection of 17 private and woodsy campsites nestled along Hough Creek. Each site is thoughtfully equipped with a picnic table, a fireplace/barbecue pit, and nearby access to potable water.
