Our spacious lakeside property offers a quiet place to unwind, while still being just minutes from a local beach and recreation center. 🚐 The Space Set up in our large private driveway with plenty of room to create your own cozy outdoor setup. Perfect for vans, small trailers, or car campers. Guests often enjoy setting up chairs, a small table, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. 🛶 Lake Access + Kayaks 🏄🏻‍♀️ Paddle board 🚲 Bikes available 🔥 Fire pit in backyard. Backyard is open until 10 pm only. You’ll have access to the lake right from our backyard. Take advantage of our two kayaks for a relaxing paddle—morning and sunset are especially beautiful on the water. 🏖️ Close to Beach + Recreation Center Want more to do? You’re just a short distance from: • A local beach for swimming and sunbathing • A recreation center (great for full showers, fitness, or activities) 🚻 Simple Bathroom Access Guests have access to a rustic bathroom in our garage, which includes: • Toilet • Laundry tub sink (no traditional sink or shower) 🌿 Why Guests Love It Here • Direct waterfront access • Quiet, safe, and peaceful setting • Close to beach and amenities • Ideal mix of nature + convenience 🔥 Good to Know • No shower on-site (rec center nearby) • Driveway camping setup (not a full-service campsite). We do have a basic plug and water but not RV specific. • Hosts are nearby but respect your privacy ✨ Whether you’re passing through or planning a laid-back lakeside stay, this is a simple and beautiful place to recharge. We’d love to host you—send us a message anytime! From the driveway where you park your camper you can see glimpses of the water. We are a 4 minute walk to a waterfront parkette and 15 min bike/50 minute walk to the local beach and 10 min bike/ 35 minute walk to local recreation centre. The great lakes waterfront trail is directly across the street. No animals please. We have a small toy poodle who is extremely friendly.This is a driveway site. No tents please. Waterfront kayak retreat
My partner and I love staying at unique lakeside spots, and found this wonderful stay where we brought our motorcycle sized pop up tent trailer and set up . Hosts Paula and Chris welcome us warmly. And even assisted us with set up and take down of our pop up . They provided recommendations for nearby pizzeria and set up a nice table and chairs both near the garage and also by the water where we enjoyed our dinner . Weather was not favourable for us to engage in the water activities they offered for no additional cost such as kayaking but is a bonus as an option for you to do during your stay. Directions to get to the property were clear. Great price point for a stay and beautiful view of the water .
