North Star Camp and Ride
Excellent site, lake and horses!
The campsite was great. We had plenty of privacy and the lake was walking distance from our site. Fantastic lake too as it was a nice deep drop off great for the kids to jump and dive off the dock. We went riding as well and were so well looked after, probably the best pick-up family ride I’ve ever done, with care and calm intros to the horses and really supportive enthusiasm. We will definitely return. A gem!

We stayed in the Grassy Round lots of room 2 vehicles, large tent, cook tent, fire pit and still had room to play Bocce ball and washers. Was able to put up a clothes line and a hamoock. Sunny spot and shady spots all day long. Very quite, peaceful during the day and at night during our trip. Sat at Cowboy site to watch the sunset while site was emtpy 1 night. Great sites for star gazzing. Water was nice and clear and deep at dock. Big plus did not see any ticks or earwigs. Great hosts very friendly and helpful. Will be back.

Wonderful stay
Martin and Jo Anne where exceptional hosts. I loved every second relaxing on their property. It was clean and very quiet. The water is beautiful to swim in. I will definitely be going back.

Absolute gem!
Martin and Joanne are absolutely fantastic hosts, and the grounds are very well maintained and spread out! We definitely had our privacy but also felt well taken care of. The horseback trail ride was an absolute treat, and again, Martin and Joanne went above and beyond to give us the full experience, and were very generous with their time. We will be coming back, soon!

North Star Camp and Ride
A Camper’s Paradise.
North Star Camp and Ride is the perfect place to get away and relax in nature. The property is absolutely beautiful and the hosts Martin and Jo Anne go above and beyond to make your time there special. We spent our days kayaking, swimming, fishing, walking the trails on the property and enjoying everything else our lakefront site had to offer. We were also able to enjoy incredible fresh eggs from the farm. As we were leaving, Martin invited us up to the house to feed the horses some carrots before we headed home. He let us go with him while he called the horses in from the pasture for lunch. It was the perfect way to end a magical trip. Make sure to meet Brewster the rooster while you’re there. He is quite the character. I cant recommend this stay enough. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you Martin and Jo Anne for a wonderful stay. I hope to visit again soon.

North Star Camp and Ride
This was an incredible camping experience. Martin and Jo Anne are so welcoming and kind. We stayed at the water site which was beautiful and private and well maintained. Our daughters had a horseback ride and some great swimming in the lake. Can’t recommend this place enough and we will be back. Thank you!!
