Walk-In wilderness camping!
What an amazing property. Camp sites are coming together as this is still a work in progress.
You'll be tucked into some dense old growth hardwood forest with a OHV trail and the peace and quiet just 30 minutes out of the city.
Teala was an amazing hostess and was always there too help in any way. Couldn't have asked for better service, can't wait to go back in the fall and enjoy the colors.

Just Book It! 😁😁
First off: JUST BOOK IT! TRUST ME!
My boyfriend and I and our two friends (and our two pain in the butt dogs) had an amazing weekend at Teala's property.
Right from the moment we showed up we felt like we were visiting family. They let us say hello to the farm animals ( its worth it just for the pigs 🐷) and then off we went to find our spot in the woods. Oh ! but first we had to make sure we got our dozen fresh eggs from them for campfire breakfast! It is very clear they have put a lot of heart and soul into the property and no doubt will continue to do so. Lots of exciting developments already in the works! We found a spot to pitch a tent, and throw a couple hammocks in the trees. We slept wonderfully under the brightest stars 🌟 we will all be returning for sure. Our dogs loved every minute of their visit as well and we can't wait to go back!

Better than extected
Tent camping on Teala's land was way better than I expected. Not only did I sleep well in the seclusion of the woods, I was given a tour of the land and introduced to all the animals on this beautiful blooming homestead. Tesla is such a kind person and went out of her way to offer any assistance that would make my stay even better. The view leading down to the site was stunning and the woods were truly what I needed after a long day of driving. I highly recommend this spot if you want to do backwoods camping in Nova Scotia.
No current outhouse (as described) but it's in the works along with many other unique additions.

Private camping areas.
Teala's property was a wonderful time. They have a vast property and allowed us to go pick anyplace to set up camp. We found a nice grove type area surrounded by trees so it was nice and private.
They also have some trails you can explore, although we opted to spend the day at Dollar lake and return to the site in the evening and star gazed. Its definitely a better experience than some provincial parks with less privacy.
Only thing to watch out for is the "guard pigs" who demand love and attention every time they see you, they're very sweet though, you will just lose some time petting them.

The sites are very nicely spread out so you have lots of privacy. They are in the process of further developing their land for hipcampers so do not have an outhouse yet. They were so kind to let us use their washroom in their house. So many sweet animals aswell! Goats, chickens, and the cutest little pig. Really good vibes here, will definitely be back.
