Great host that was extremely helpful with local attractions and places to eat. Large site with full hookups.
Just fyi. This site is in a neighborhood on a site that is beside the host home. It is a little interesting to get out of the site if you have a larger unit. Do your homework before you go.
Overall, this is a good place to visit the surrounding area.

This was a great site. We used it as a Basecamp while we hiked and explored Pisgah and DuPont forests. I'd return for sure.

Great full-hookup RV/tent site. Facing the trees and campfire, you're in the mountains! The site is so great that having the house over to the left is hardly noticed, so don't be concerned about it's proximity to the rv/camping site. Level, crushed rock, nearly fire pit, great hiking/walking the paved streets of the neighborhood (big loop a little over a mile to get warmed up for the day and exercise the dogs before heading out for the day). 15 minutes to town/Walmart/Lowes/etc. Dupont Forest hikes are incredible and filled to waterfalls galore, and all 25 minutes away. Haven't explored Pisgah area in the other direction yet.

I would suggest changing the title photos for this listing as it’s truly a shared driveway. Shame on us for not reading through some older reviews, but we were a little thrown off when we got there. Good for proximity to Brevard and Rv hook up, but not good for.

Perfect location to go into town and spend the day shopping or to take a day and see the waterfalls. Hosts were super chill nice people. We will definitely be back.

We had a great stay at the Woodland Retreat. It was a perfect spot for our quick stay in Brevard as we explored the downtown along with a performance at the Brevard Music Center. The hosts were incredibly helpful and we would certainly stay again with them!

Great location, close to town and all the trails but far enough away to get away from the hustle and bustle of town. The homeowners are super helpful and accommodating, providing some excellent trail suggestions and also were kind enough to provide a ladder when we needed one. Will definitely use the location again next time we pull our camper into the area!!

We enjoyed our stay here. We had a full hookup, which was nice, because the wooded area didn't allow our solar to get much sun and we didn't have to go anywhere to dump or get water. It's a quiet private neighborhood and our hosts were very kind and gracious. While we were parked in part of the driveway close to our host's house, we were left alone except when we asked for information, so it felt more private than any campground where you have neighbors close by in a more transient setting.
That said, anyone considering this site should be mindful of the size of their RV. We were pulling a trailer - 24 foot nose to tail - and that is the max I would pull into this neighborhood and driveway. The neighborhood streets are narrow and the tree canopy discourages height much over 10 feet, unless you don't mind a few smaller branches brushing your RV. The turnaround when you leave with your RV is tight but do-able with our length (Ford truck attached, so maybe 42 feet total when hooked up), but would be tough with a longer length.

This is a nice clean campsite in a great area. The proximity to Brevard and other outdoor activities was excellent. The site was flat and the host was kind. This campsite would probably be great for someone who was just popping in for a night or might be gone all day. The site is in a neighborhood with tight and windy roads. This site is very close to the hosts home. There is a fire pit but it is down the hill away from the camper.

Overall, the site was as described, and the hosts were very nice and made the site very welcoming. The neighborhood was quiet as well. It is a convenient location for exploring the surrounding area and the full hookups were a bonus. We are used to parking in campgrounds, so we felt awkward parking our camper in their right, front yard on the shared drive. It's a nice spot if you're okay with this type of arrangement.

Nice gravel pull-through level site with full services in the trees. Be prepared for steep narrow roads up to the site.
Hosts are both lovely and Chris provided excellent bike beta! Great location! Only 15 to 20 minutes to Pisgah and DuPont for mountain biking.
We highly recommend and will be back next year!

Ended up passing on this location once we got there since it’s part of the hosts driveway & front yard and multiple homes close by. I’m
At fault for not doing more research or asking more questions. Could be good for those that want a quick safe place to stay in a neighborhood.

Cozy, quiet, wooded and lovely weekend In the brevard mountains. The hosts were so sweet with the perfect little family. Oh yeah, the site has full hookups and a nice little fire pit. We will return!
