Sawhill run camp, with electric
Great site, outdated listing info
Sawhill campsite is a really beautiful piece of property. The camp site is lovely and the surroundings are serene. Me and my buddy booked with a listing that read “great trailer with red roof for toilet and shower” - this building we assumed was part of our booking. It has recently been turned into a tiny house that the land owner rents out separately. The land lady was upset when she arrived at the site and me and my buddy had set up camp inside the trailer that was listed as a part of the rental. This mix up left us feeling frustrated as we were told a person would be overnighting in their “tiny house” and we needed to vacate immediately. The land owner should update their listing so this does not happen again.
Also strange was a tenant next to the camp site who lives in a trailer next to the red roofed trailer. We found it unsettling that this gentleman sat in his car for hours at a time and we felt like we needed to keep our guard up. Rather bizarre. That said, we enjoyed the peace and quiet and a clear night allowed for great views of stars and satellites. Long story short, this site has some drawbacks that need remedied, However if we were in the area again, we would consider booking again.

The drive in was beautiful. Property had a nice trail around and the little stream was pretty. The stars were gorgeous and it was a quiet stay.

Easy location to get to. We used it as a place to stop over for the night on a long road-trip and it was perfect. Great host.

A work in progress
A little tricky to find, but it's tucked away on a nice piece of property. Jay seemed a little surprised to see us when we arrived, but told us where we could park. Found a fire ring and some fire wood and had a peaceful night. Couldn't find an outhouse that wasn't covered in spider webs, but I believe that this place will improve over time!

Tons of land!!
We absolutely loved our trip to Saw Hill camp! Jay was very welcoming and showed us around. There was tons of space to camp out at!! We chose to camp right next to the stream and it was so peaceful. It was truly a great camping spot

Highly recommend! Jay is super nice and chill. It’s a little tricky to find at first- just look for a bunch of red picnic tables!
The property is Beautiful ♥️ He even left us fire wood! Thank you for a great stay!
