40 acres of mostly forested land tucked deep in the Brushy Mountain Range, a spur of the Blue Ridge Mountains. No bears but you might see deer, wild turkeys, hawks and herons as well as the usual possums, raccoons, squirrels and so on. NO FIREARMS ALLOWED (this includes concealed carry weapons) NO MOTORIZED OFF-ROAD VEHICLES ALLOWED

    NC Brushy Mountain Getaway
    There is so much to do and see at Brushy Mountain Getaway. I spnt lots of time swimming in the pond, exploring the grounds, and picking berries. Theres a breathtakingly beautiful creek that runs through the property, and you can hike up it. I was amazed by the natural waterslide and my dog and I enjoyed swimming around with the other dogs. Brushy Mountain would make a great place to stay with a larger group as well, there’s something to please everyone. Tom has such an incredible farm and is quite the host. I wish I had more time here!
