Kate was awesome. A couple of points 1) Love it when the host is welcoming and cool. 2) What an awesome property.. her pond is awesome. 3) My wife asked for life jackets for the kids.. they were right there readily available. 4) Lake Leamon is 4 miles away. For a Dad with 2 boys 10 & 11, they were in hog heaven. Here is the deal. Leake Leamon has a lot of year-round tenants. The chances of getting a spot are slim to none. But if you can get a place close, your kids will love this place. Fishing, swimming, boats, platform diving.. kids were entertained 'till nightfall. Thank you Kate.
This was our 2nd trip and there will be many more. Our hostess and host were super and anticipated our wants and needs before we did. Super clean and comfortably appointed.

Kate was very welcoming and generous. We originally were going to tent camp but she let us stay in the camper because it was really hot and about to storm. The property is lovely and it felt very safe. We rented some kayaks from them and went out on the lake and it was truly magical, like something out of a fairy tale. Going out on the lake was definitely one of the highlights of the whole trip.
