A no-frills, basic camping site! Electricity is available via the shed’s outdoor access, and there is an RV hookup. Small RVs and van-lifers can access the property, but large RVs may struggle. (Note: The driveway is one-direction access, but there is ample turnaround space.) The shed is primarily for storage, but feel free to text in case of emergency—it can be used as an emergency shelter if needed. There is no true water on site (there is a tiny creek at the bottom of the property, though it is not easily accessed at this time—this is a future project. I do have a hand pump for filtering water from the creek). There are also no bathrooms on site. This is truly a tent-style camp space with a strict pack-in, pack-out policy. I’ll eventually be adding more amenities as I’m able. Enjoy cleared, flat car parking spaces, plenty of raw land, and a small trail around the property for a short hike. It’s a gorgeous drive to this location—super quiet, with a gas station nearby, just 6 minutes from a major shopping area and about 20 minutes from Asheville. A quiet, private spot for cozy, no-frills camping.5 Acres of quiet no-frills camping with a strict pack-in-pack-out policy. There is a flattened and graveled area for car parking, and a trail for exploring and catching some nice views. Once every 2-4 months the site is maintained with landscaping and mowing, a bit more often in the summer and a bit less in the winter. The acreage is marked to help show the land boundary lines. The driveway is a one-way access, but there is plenty of space to turn around for entry. Cars, vans, and small RVs will not struggle, but a larger RV absolutely will. I don't recommend them. There is electricity available for free use included in the price. The access is on the side of the shed--there is also an RV hookup there. The site is only 10 minutes from a gas station and 15 minutes from a large shopping center with tons of amenities and supplies or downtown Weaverville. 25 minutes to downtown Asheville. There are no bathrooms, no trash service, no water access currently. There is a small creek (there is a project in the works to make this accessible) that is not currently accessible. This is truly just quiet semi-wild land. There is pest control that comes to treat the shed area and the driveway for comfort every 2 months--the rest is untouched besides basic landscaping. I will continue to make improvements in the upcoming months and years. Do note that, in the rare instance that I need access to the storage shed, I will avoid doing so while campers are present--and will reach out if it is unavoidable. I do my absolute best to leave campers alone and let them enjoy their privacy. If you need some basic items such as a large cooler, these can be available for use for a small fee.
