Bent Creek Farm
This is our 3rd trip to this fabulous location (see other reviews of Bent Creek). This place is very special to us, as its perfect for a quick get away, and you're so close to anything you may want/need to do. The host are top notch and feel almost like family to us now! I'd recommend this location to anyone...except when I wanna be there!!! Thanks again for all the care Hannah and Doug! Hope to be back soon!

Bent Creek Farm
Great place to stay! Easy access off of a secondary road. This is a full RV hookup and everything is very convienent. Doug met us (with fresh baked cookies!) after we had everything set up. He is a wealth of information on the area due to his family being on this land for more than 200 years. Very quiet and peaceful. Close by to a lot of activities. Check out historic town of Rockford and areas vineyards . We did tastings at Stony Knoll and Haze Gray vineyards and had dinner outside on the patio at the Harvest Grill at Shelton Vineyards.
We could not be happier with our stay and first time using Hipcamp.
Definitely will be returning to Bent Creek Farm!

Wow! Doug and Hannah were great. Doug welcomed us to their site with a loaf of banana bread. What a treat! This is the place if you want to be away from other campers. Nice view of meadow fields and old buildings from the original home place. Doug told us the story of the home place and how the land passed down through the generations while we sat by the fire pit. Plenty of firewood there and kindlin to get it started. Hannah came by about supper time with some brownies that were so good. This is the place to get away from it all. Very private and a beautiful location. Several wineries within just a few miles so don’t forget to see the hidden vineyards winery.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed on Hannah and Doug's property because we love everything about it. We will most definitely stay again if they'll have us. The views are so incredible that our feet are on the ground before the sun even rises because we don' want to miss a minute. Doug and Hannah are so friendly and make the best homemade brownies (I'll keep the secret Doug). If you're looking for a peaceful trip, away from everything, yet, not far away from anything, and you love to have great HipCamp Hosts...this is your spot! Thanks for everything Doug and Hannah!

Absolutely serene and quiet location with all the amenities. Minutes from the wineries, historic downtowns, and highways. Host Doug was warm and inviting. They even made us some brownies to enjoy while we relaxed.

We chose Hannah and Doug’s farm for our first trip in the new RV and so glad we did. Super quiet and tucked in around other farms and vineyards. Our 33’ Brinkley fit easily and were able to use the 50 amp electric and water. The road in is a bit tight but can be managed. If you’re heading that way, you’ll definitely enjoy their space.

We loved camping on the land. It was a quiet and peaceful spot about 15-20 minutes from any activity one might want. We arrived after dark and appreciated that the power pole and sewer hookups were illuminated. If you’re looking for a level and spacious spot, look no further.

We really enjoyed our stay! The farm is well located and accesible to every place we wanted to visit. It was peaceful and serene, exactly what we were looking for. Hannah was super sweet and brought us delicious brownies and muffins. Her husband a delight to speak to and absolutely welcoming. We felt right at home! We are already planning our next visit.

We love camping on Hannah’s property!! The location is gorgeous, quiet, and serene. This was our 6th time… we go fall and spring… site is huge with enough room to comfortable back in our 36 ft TT. Access to pilot and stone mountains and Mt. Airy. If you love wineries and the outdoors, Bent Creek is a must!! (And Hannah welcomes you with treats!!)

We loved our stay at Bent Creek Farm!! Hannah and Doug were wonderful hosts! They welcomed us with Chocolate Chip cookies and stories of their land and the surrounding area.
They invited us to pick fresh blueberries on their property and showed us a well marked path for an after dinner walk. We would highly recommend and will stay again when we are in the area.

We loved our stay at Bent Creek Farm. It was quiet, super scenic, and the hosts were very nice and make great brownies! The site is on the road, but there is very little traffic. There are lots of sites within walking distance in historic Rockford, or take a stroll through the woods before visiting nearby Mt. Airy and Pilot Mountain State Park. We will be back.

This is our 4th time staying on Hannah’s property. You are welcomed in arrival. It is a super easy back in spot with full hook ups. It is very flat. You have tons of beautiful space to spread out on and the views are so pretty. The property is close to wineries and hiking. Downtown Elkin is not too far. We love this property and have already booked again for the fall!

This is a beautiful property with pecan and walnut trees nestled in the Yadkin Valley. It’s quiet and very peaceful. The RV site is set up very nicely. Our host was very nice and gave us places we could use for breakfast lunch and dinner. We had a great time and wonderful time had great adventures.

This is our 3rd time staying on Hannah’s property. She is super responsive and welcoming. The space has everything you need and it’s so pretty and peaceful. The closeness to area mountains if you hike and wineries is perfect. We can’t way to go back in the spring.

My wife and I, along with our pup Comet, loved our stay at Bent Creek Farm. Perfect, peaceful, relaxing extended weekend getaway for us. Enjoyed waking up to the birds singing and going to sleep with the crickets chirping. We would like to thank our gracious hosts Doug and Hannah for allowing us to stay on their piece of heaven in beautiful historic Rockford. We definitely look forward to our next stay. Brownies were yummy.

We stayed one week at this quiet and beautiful 1 acre RV spot and enjoyed the peace and quiet we were seeking. This RV spot is located within 2-10 miles of some of the best Yatkin Valley wineries and many other must see attractions. Upon our arrival Doug met us to make sure we were good to go and presented us with some muffins and brownies. The spot is beautifully maintained and picturesque surrounded by rural settings and historical markers.
We will definitely visit again and again!

This spot was incredible and so relaxing! Doug and Hannah were amazing hosts! They brought muffins and Brownies to us which were amazing they made sure we didn't need a single thing...most importantly they shared all the rich history of this location! Even in 2 days of rain it was Fabulous!

This is our second time on Hannah’s property. Hannah is incredibly easy to communicate with and their piece of land is beautiful. Everything is easily accessible for hook up. The area Is close to so many great outings. Can’t wait to go back again!!!

Absolutely wonderful experience!! Beautiful, gravel, mostly level site with grass, trees, full hook ups, and a nice view. We loved the privacy of the single site, very peaceful with minimal traffic noise . The hosts are kind and welcoming! They brought us baked treats and information about places to eat as a welcome and shared some of the neat history of the farm and inn. Lots of things to do in the vicinity and plenty of wineries to visit. Thank you so much for a really great stay! We will be returning.

Absolutely beautiful! Peaceful and clean! Our host met us after we pulled in, asked if we needed anything and then left us alone. The fire pit was well stocked with firewood, including kindling ( a pleasant surprise). Only one site, exactly what were looking for. We will be back, thanks for having us Hannah.

Beautiful farm in the country with pastoral views. Feels very private but also safe. Very level and well prepared site with full hook ups. Lots to do in the area and the hosts provided a list of recommendations including a pizza place that delivers and it was good! Will definitely be back in the future.
