The Angelina is a beautiful, fully furnished 1600 sq. ft. floating home, with a 500 sq. ft. roof space, located in Marina 59, on the Rockaway Peninsula in New York City. This unique space is perfect for those who want to be near the City, but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. The marina itself is a wonderful place for viewing marine life, as well as local and migratory birds. There are plenty of great bars and restaurants nearby, and the ocean is just down the street!Take glamping to the next level. This 3 bedroom house boat has 3 bedrooms plus a rolled-up full matress and 2 air beds for the stragglers. Super close to the surf beach and a dozen of eateries and bars. Starlink wifi for folks who need to stay connected. The kitchen has a spacious countertop, with a toaster oven, a pour-over coffee set-up, a small two-burner gas stove, and a large fridge/freezer unit. There's a propane grill out on the back deck, as well as a washing machine, and a clothesline. The marina provides a bathhouse in the parking lot with two restrooms; each has multiple bathroom stalls, and a shower room. The boat does not have a full bathroom onboard. However, it does have a #1 only compost toilet. Water to the bathhouse stays on all year, and water to the boat is shut off before the first freeze. Drinking and dish water is to be brought onto the boat after the freeze. Renters can take this on, or a water delivery service can be provided for an additional fee. Near the marina, you’ll find plenty of good restaurants and bars within walking distance, and it’s under a 10 minute walk to the ocean. For the nature lovers, there are multiple parks and wildlife sanctuaries nearby, and the marina itself is a fantastic location for observing marine life, from giant schools of fish, to local and migrating birds. Also, if you enjoy fishing, there’s plenty of opportunities here! The marina rents out pontoons and skiffs as well, for those wanting to go out on the water. The marina requires a clicker to get in and out, which will be provided. Multi-car parking is available in the parking lot There’s a bus stop right outside the gate in front of the Pioneer Market, and the A Train on Beach 60th, about 5 minutes up the street. The A Train is the most direct way to get up to Brooklyn and Manhattan, so if you ever want to take a trip to the inner city, the ride is a little over one hour most days. We’re also very close to JFK Int’l, which is about a 25 minute drive.
