Kid and Dog Friendly!
This site was great for the kids and dogs to explore. The creek and pond contained frogs, newts, and salamanders that my kids loved. The dogs loved walking through the creek. It was such a nice set up and we felt very secluded. Dave was very kind, friendly, and helpful. I would definitely recommend this site! The walk to the site from parking was short but we appreciated the exercise and all of the wild flowers.

Not great for travel trailers
Private. Owner attentive to our needs. Great views. Not great for travel trailers although we made it work, site was on a hill with no level spot to place the trailer, required a lot of blocking.

Camping at David’s was great!
Lovely property, David was incredibly friendly and helpful.
Spent the afternoon exploring the creek and hanging by the pond. Perfect area for camping.

Hang Out in a Beautiful Creek!
David made us feel very welcome and met up with us right at check-in time and directed us to our parking spot and down to our campsite. He made sure we had everything we needed and was available to communicate throughout our stay. There is a hill you need to hike down to get to the site, but it's a very short walk. We pitched our tent in the site next to the pond. We loved having a view of the water and listening to the gurgling creek right next to us. We brought our hammocks down to the creek and hung out down there with our feet in the water for hours on a 90 degree day. We planned for bugs to be bad, but they were not an issue at all in Mid-May. The rock bed in the creek and the huge pines made us feel like we were way further up north. We felt extremely peaceful and secluded at this site, and highly recommend it, especially if you are looking for a cool, shady place to hang out on a hot day.

Szaro Farm - Woods, Creek, Fields
Szaro Farm was such a perfect spot for us! We were looking for something off the beaten path, to feel really connected with the outdoors and that’s exactly what we got! David had created this beautiful grove, surrounded by trees for the site. There was a handy fire pit and a table with a couple chairs for us to use! I was definitely happy I had a jeep to get back to the spot because we had to drive over some muddy spots, but that was also super fun and part of the adventure!
