MoodCamp - Glamping near the Gorge
Cozy in the Catskills
MoodCamp was great. Easily accessible with amenities in the nearby town of Monticello (about a 10 minute drive). Antje and Pete were there when we arrived stoking the indoor wood burning stove and gave us a tour of how everything in the cabin worked. Pete left us with a lot of split wood which made staying warm very easy. There's a camp stove, LED lanterns, some basic supplies like a pan and mugs and cutting board (and bottle opener!) that made it even easier. We had a nice fire in the fire ring outside and watched dawn break by the pond. There are a few other small cabins and houses within sight but we didn't see anyone and weren't disturbed. This was a fantastic option for a weekend winter camping trip when we were too lazy to pitch a tent and the nights were too long to sit hunched over in the rain. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for an easy way to get some fresh air and stars.

MoodCamp - Glamping near the Gorge
Antje and Pete are such gracious hosts - they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The cabin itself is by the beautiful gillman pond, private, and comfortable. The door can jam occasionally. I’d love to stay here again!
