After an approx. 1/2 mile hike you will reach a clearing at the top of our mountain. There is a step rock face so please be careful. You will enjoy 180 degrees views of the Adirondack park and high peaks. Great views of Gore Mountain, Moxham Mountain and beautiful Bird Pond. You are able to see several high peaks including; Algonquin, Dix, and Nipple Top. View faces west for the most spectacular sunsets. 7 min drive to North Creek, NY were there are shops and several good restaurants. Also, in North Creek you will find Revolution Rail, a bicycling outfit on the railroad along the Hudson River. There is also a lot of mountain bike trails at the Gore Mountain Ski Bowl.
