Site 1: Great for people who want to be a little closer to the action. It's near the compost toilet and large communal bonfire pit. And it's the closest site to parking — you can even drive up and park next to the site if you're wanting max convenience. Fits up to 2 tents. Site 2: If you're coming with a crew, this is maybe the best site. Can fit up to 3 tents, and isn't too far from parking. On your short walk you'll travel through a little meadow of Goldenrods to a campsite that's private but not too far away. Site 3: A quiet and woodsy experience that's very lovely. On the smaller side, so best for 1 or 2 people with a single tent. Hide away in this site, it's a little mystical. It's a hike-in site on flat terrain, about a 5-minute easy walk. Site 4: You'll forget all your worries out here, in the middle of the woods. It's quiet, typically visited by deer and wild turkeys, and campers of the more rustic variety. It's about a 10min trek in from the parking on an easy, flat path. If you have loads of gear, you can borrow our wagon to help out. Fits 2-3 tents max. We're a small farm in the Hudson Valley with quiet, peaceful camping on primitive land. Just the right amount of familiar amenities and a beautiful landscape make a nice backdrop for your next camping trip. We love to meet new campers and have friends come back time and again. Join us and other campers in the communal kitchen, or hang out by the campfire in your campsite with your group. You'll find beautiful hiking trails, mountains, lakes, rock climbing, biking and many more outdoor activities right nearby in the Shawangunk mountains. When there's snow on the ground we have snowshoe and x-country ski trails around our farm and through the woods. You might even get lucky and come when we've groomed them! We're a mile down the road from Angry Orchard cider house, and close to Magnanini Winery and Robibero Winery. New Paltz is close by and has some great food to offer if you want to ride into a bigger town. Order any extras with us (camp breakfast or dinner) ahead of time so we can make sure you have everything when you arrive. Looking forward to having you visit :)

Quiet Camping
Hi I enjoyed camping at Ellie & Joey's farm. The hosts were welcoming and were always in contact. There were meal options but we didn't take advantage of that. There was plenty of room for our tents in the field near the big fire pit. There were a few more private tent areas so many options. Dark night skies gave us great star views. Quiet and private.

lovely hosts and great breakfast!
Ellie and Joey are wonderful hosts—they were super communicative, kind, and accommodating. Three of us—me, my partner, and a friend—did an overnight bikecamping trip to Bonflower Farm, staying at site 3, which had enough room for our 2 small backpacking tents. We opted in for breakfast, which comprised of very tasty shakshouka, a potato mash, bread with jam, and plenty of coffee. If you're reading this and you're also a bikecamper, we took our bikes on Metro North to Poughkeepsie, and from there it was a very pleasant ~23 mile ride along mostly rail trails (Hudson Valley RT > Wallkill RT) and quiet country roads. You'll need gravel tires for the rail trails, though, which have some rocky (and muddy, if it's rained recently) sections. Speaking of mud—it did rain a little the weekend we stayed at Bonflower; site 3 has some mild tree coverage, as others note, but if you're looking to hang out in the communal picnic bench area when it's raining you might consider bringing a tarp and some rope.

Great space to enjoy a car camping trip. The campsites are spacious and well spaced from each other. Had a great time enjoying the communal bonfire! Ellie and Joey had great recommendations and were always easy to reach. Would definitely recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!
