Nestled on the gentle, rolling hills of The Snowy River Way, tucked away from the road, and only a short drive from town, it feels miles from anywhere. Our place is set amongst an abundance of beautiful, old Candlebark trees, granite boulders, native grasses and shrubs. The trees with their sculptural trunks and hollows provide homes and nests for many native birds and eagles. Our property has 500m of Mowamba River frontage where platypus and trout abound. Kangaroos, wallabies and fallow deer wander down at dusk to nibble on the grasses and sheep can be seen grazing on the hillside of a neighbouring farm. Guests are able to enjoy glorious sunrises and sunsets, from an elevated, yet private position taking in the natural beauty. A perfect base for your skiing/ snowboarding, mountain biking, fishing or hiking holiday! * Important. Please note our sites are for caravans and motorhomes only. This is non-negotiable. We do not cater for tents, camper trailers, swags or sleeping pods! Your caravan or motorhome must have it's own toilet. Thank you *

Valley View - slab site

We stayed at the valley view site. Setup was easy as the site is level and slab is a great size. Great location by the river. Helpful hosts. Would definitely stay again, private sites but close enough to chat to your neighbours.

Candlebark - slab site

Picture perfect

We loved our stay! Beautiful location, nice a private, and the hosts are lovely. Must check out the creek while you’re there as it is so pretty and tranquil! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Valley View - slab site

Fantastic site with great views across the valley. Water, power and wifi were a welcome addition. Clear directions and easy access. The two adjacent sites were unoccupied so we had a wonderfully peaceful and restorative stay. Very keen to return in the near future.

Morning Sun

A must to stay there.

Fantastic spot plenty of wild life, not too far from town. The most magnificant night sky, so clear and bright the stars seemed so close.

Valley View - slab site

Great Australia Day weekend

We had a great weekend at Jindabyne at this campsite. Was quiet and calm with plenty of wildlife around. Close to Jindabyne and the ready access to power and water (at each site) was a welcome bonus.

Morning Sun

We had a quick 2 nights in Jindabyne and stayed at Sinikka and Justin’s place. We stayed in our 21.6ft van. Easy access for our van. The site we stayed on had amazing views with glorious morning sun. Sinikka and Justin’s place is the perfect place to base yourself to explore the mountains, both in Summer or Winter. You can hook up to power and water if needed. Highly recommend! Thank you so much for having us and helping with our jockey wheel issue!
