We are in the beautiful Northern Rivers of NSW, twelve kms from the Queensland border, travelling down through the picturesque Lions Road and thirty kilometers to the south of us is the beautiful township of Kyogle. We run thirty-five to forty head of cattle and 9 horses, and one very friendly dog (Skye). We have a freshwater creek running through the property, which is great for a cool dip in the warmer weather. Wallabies roam through the property with many colourful birds living and nesting in the surrounding trees and stumps during nesting season. Other wildlife can be spotted like platypus, although shy will show their faces if you sit quietly by the creek in the early mornings. Nearby are the Border Ranges National Park with wonderful walks from as little as ten to fifteen minutes drive. There are also lookouts and walking tracks abundant both close by and in the national parks around the Kyogle area. The Pinnacle, a well-known lookout is a twenty-five-minute drive and a 200m walk that offers an awesome view of Mount Warning and the surrounding valley. Plan your trip for a morning as on a clear day you can see the coastline. Our property offers space to spread out or walk around the creeks and enjoy the peace and quiet away from traffic or the business of living in cities. Plenty of room for a game of cricket or footy or just sit in the cool and relax reading a book or two. We value nature and our environment and ask that you respect and care for the land that you are sharing with us during your visit. We have six sites in total all with creek access, five are suitable for caravans, and the sixth site is a very private campsite, 4wd-accessible, (2wd normally but not in wet weather). This site is only being offered for tents or camper trailers. We always ensure a limited number of campers so you get the space and tranquility you deserve on your camping trip. No side by side camping, always spacious and comfortable. All campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet and we kindly ask you take all waste when you leave.

Magnificent
Magnificent easter 2024 at highview Easter 2024 at Highview was great. Three families and two dogs o booked to adjacent sites. Our sites and all others (we checked them all out), were level, completely grassed and freshly mown. Fire pit and purchased timber was great. Creek was running with pools and rapids. Our western sites had shade in the afternoon. Eastern sites, shade in the morning. Plenty of distance between sites and no noise heard from others. Hope they couldn’t hear us! The whole creek flats area were freshly mown including a cricket pitch with wickets and boundary markers. Cattle were excluded from the area some time prior to visit so the only cow pats were dry and mown. Access to the sites was easy and well managed. Plenty of space to fly a kite, kick a ball, play cricket etc. Everyone had a great time. Ian and Sue are great hosts. Super friendly and checks in that all is OK. Ian took three of the grandkids for a tour to see the calves, horses, and other animals. They had a fantastic time and still talking about it. Really well managed property and camp. Clean, safe, and really kind and generous hosts. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back when we can. Kind Regards, Rob and Jen and families.

A little slice of heaven
This has been our favourite Hipcamp site by a long way. As a family we needed a break together and this was the perfect off grid oasis. We spent 5 glorious nights at this stunning property. You can feel and see the pride Ian has in his property. He was a wonderful host really taking care of his guests. The therapy cows on the paddock were an extra bonus and so super friendly. The swimming hole was like an ice bath, but the perfect place to rinse off after a day of activities from footy to cricket to just lazing about reading taking in the stunning scenery. Fires allowed for proper camp cooking and beautifully mowed lawns that meant shoes were always off. Thank you Ian for sharing your oasis with us. We will most definitely be back!

Easter camping at its best!
Ian’s property was beautiful and the sites were very well maintained. Magic river views and good access for swimming. Ian was very welcoming and so helpful. The firewood supplied was good quality split hardwood. All the sites were located very thoughtfully to maximise the experience and were well spaced from each other. We camped at Easter and felt like we still had our privacy from other campsites which was awesome. The property is located within a short drive from the Border Ranges NP for some great hikes and was only a short drive to Kyogle for supplies. Highly recommend Ian’s place for a relaxing and private stay.
