CLOSED BY COUNCIL UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. SO SORRY EVERYONE. Peaceful and very private, flat area by the creek. You will feel as though you are miles from civilization but in fact only 8km out of town. We have a large shelter, a firepit, benches plus a gas BBQ. Toilet NOT located down by the creek it's a short walk across the paddock near our house. The site is acessed by a short, but steep hill down to the creek. However, most 2WD will manage, as long as the track is dry. Off-road caravan friendly. However, after rain a 22ft caravan, approx 3500kg needed winching out. One group only at a time. Children welcome.There is a large mowed area down by the creek perfect for cricket or ball games. Your children must be supervised at all times. Expect friendly visits from the sheep, horses and goat ! The creek is not suitable for swimming or fishing. Sorry no dogs allowed. Visiters are reminded to keep up to date with current local weather situations and be responsible for their own safety. ALL rubbish MUST be taken with you when you leave.

Camping By The Creek

Slight mix up as there was a double booking upon arrival, we decided to give the other campers the spot. After sharing a beer with the hosts they offered us a spot at The Duck Hole which was literally just up the road (owned by their mother) which we gladly accepted.

A lovely peaceful and private campsite, close to town and beaches. The large shelter is brilliant, providing lots of shade and protection from the sun. We'll be back!

We had a great time camping down by the creek. Couldn't ask for a better setup with the awning, toilet and of course the fire pit. So peaceful and quiet. We will be back for sure!

Camping By The Creek

This is a delightful location and the hosts have made best efforts to make it really enjoyable by providing a fire pit, toilet and a permanent shaded area. This proved very useful as it rained all three days of our stay. Our only gripe was the farm animals being able to wander through our site.
