Camp Coola is on a beautiful farm on the Bowman River, less than half an hour from Gloucester NSW. Camping is private and rural, choices include: The River Flat paddock. The Rainforest Camp (4wd access only) And a few other private spots we can show you if you want to immerse yourself in nature. Birds galore, Koalas & Wallabies abound. Only 40 mins to the spectacular Barrington Tops National Park. Just a bit over an hour to the beaches of Forster / Tuncurry. We can offer extra services by arrangement, such as; - Looking after your dog/s if you wish to visit Barrington Tops National Park. - Lamb / Calf bottle feeding. - Cow milking. - Firewood supply and delivery to your camp site - we will even get your fire set ready to light when you arrive, or even light the fire for you before you arrive. - Patting / grooming / feeding the horses. - Use of yards should you wish to bring a pony / horse.

River Camp - Private

We had a great stay in this beautiful private location right on the river. Dimity was very welcoming and let our young kids feed their calf and sheep. The fire was already started for us when we arrived and there was plenty of firewood. Great spot.

Flat grassy spot near the creek. Nice and private. Lots of Wallabies around in the evening and morning.

Creek stay

Had a great stay at Coola. Campfire upon arrival, creek sounds all night, and a little swimming hole a short walk away. My kids even got to feed the baby cow! Thanks for a great stay

Rain Forest Camp

Site was great, unfortunately couldn’t get the the rainforest one cause there was a tree down but stayed by the river and it was excellent. Very private site

River Camp - Private

We loved camping on Dimity & Russell's land! And are already talking about going back. We were a group of 12 (3 families, 6 adults, 6 kids), staying over Easter long weekend (4 nights). Upside for us (downside for some), there's no internet/phone reception. Was about a 30 min drive to get enough reception to download a movie. There's so much to do on the property. Beautiful river, and lots of space for exploring, riding bikes, kicking balls etc. Plus we were lucky that Dimity and Russell had some animals that they let our kids (and the adults) bottle feed, pat and play with. Dimity was great communicating before our arrival and during our stay. She even lit the fire for us before we arrived as we were arriving later in the day. And met each of our party at the gate to show us to our sites (even when we arrived late one night).

Creek Camping

We had a great stay at Camp Coola! Very picturesque down by the creek and over the mountains. Our little ones enjoyed swimming and climbing the rocks, going for walks to visit the geese and horses and also bottle feeding the baby animals. Dimity and Richard were a great hosts, we loved our stay and the local honey purchase. Thank you!
