Located 1.5 hours from Sydney, we offer gorgeous park like acres of camp spots surrounded by natural bush with 1km of creek frontage – providing the perfect spot for a dip. We are surrounded by the Wollemi National Park, so you can extend your bush walk or bike ride outside the limits of this pretty 40-acre property. We offer a true off-grid style camping experience! There is an abundance of wildlife, so bring your torch to check out the native wallabies, wombats and lyre birds This is the perfect spot for someone looking for a getaway for camping, fishing (strictly catch and release), bushwalking or mountain biking in a private location Camping is in an open paddock - so pick your space - there is lots of space away from your fellow campers. The secluded spot near the dam is our most popular campsite. It is a private spot sheltered by trees away from the grassed acres other campers. Accessed with a 4WD (steep uneven track). You will require a 4WD or AWD to access Blue Gum Flats. There are NO AMENITIES, no power and no water - campers BYO everything and leave no trace! You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place - check with host. Sorry no dogs.

Wonderful spot!

Grass area was ideal for my tent. Nice secluded spot with plenty of room between campers. The creek nearby looked pristine with crystal clear water over clean sand.

This was our second stay at Blue Gum Flats it was just as great as the first. An untouched, peaceful hideaway yet conveniently close to Sydney! A great chance to go offgrid and getaway from it all!

Beautiful location, lovely owners

We had a great time camping here, Joanne and her Husband Mick are a lovely couple and we were made to feel very welcome. The track in will keep most vehicles out without an AWD or 4wd but this is a great location, with a beautiful creek to relax in, and we picked hot hot weather so the creek was awesome. We will happily return here

This spot really impressed with it's space and scenery. Mike and Jo are amazing hosts and will really make you feel welcome. Make sure you check out the creek, was really what we needed during a heatwave!

Quite & Private

Beautiful spot on Weeney Ck, with great bush walks and wildlife. Hosts Jo & Mike were fabulous, road in & out needs a 4x4 along a steep fire trail but well worth the trip. Loved it
