Situated at an elevation of 4,400 feet, just below the Caballo Dam, the campground is located along the banks of the Rio Grande River, with several spots providing direct river access. Most campsites are shaded by trees, ensuring a comfortable stay for both RV and tent campers. For those seeking recreational activities, the campground is a gateway to boating, fishing, and various lake activities behind the dam. Nearby, the town of Williamsburg, located about 8 miles away, offers essential services, including fuel and dining options. Onsite amenities include pull-through sites, full hookups, 20/30AMP service, restrooms, drinking water, picnic tables, fire rings, and paved camp roads
