Ponderosa camp is in an ideal location for the outdoor lover. We are a little over a mile walk to Seargent's Wildlife Refuges, the Chamita, and the Chama River. Within 20 miles you'll find Trujillo Meadows, Heron Lake, the Brazos cliffs, Humphrys Wildlife Management Area, and Heron State Park. The town of Chama is within a mile walk where you can find many amenities (Coffee shops, dollar stores, eateries, laundry mats, & more) and the grocery store is within 3 miles of the house. The property itself is in a beautiful location on an acre lot. There is one canvas tent and many spots to pitch your own tent. You will have access to a picnic table and a communal fire pit.
