Tonight you'll be staying, "Over There". Where is Over There you may be asking... well, let me tell you! Over There is 300 metres down an old forest trail, in a secluded part of our property on the edge of the ocean. So yes, you will need to walk your gear in. We can provide a cart to help tow your items though. From your camping spot you'll have direct access to the Harbour de Lute, which has little to no development on it. There is a shared compost-toliet outhouse, and fresh water in jugs available at your site, as well as a fire pit, and cleared place to set up your tent. Camping gear can be provided for you at an additional cost.

The property, affectionally known as Mother Mushroom, is home to Campobello Island's only Market Garden, as well as a nano-brewery, focusing on small batch, traditional ales, and local flavours. With trails to the ocean, various farm animals, and fresh veggies and beer, this is a truly one-of-a-kind farmstay opportunity.

Over There
Zoltan and Lauren had great spot but unfortunately the neighbor bulldozed a road through their site! They were accommodating but limited as to what to offer in replacement. The listing implied a shore side site but that was never offered. Curious to see what happens next! We did get a full refund but had to find other lodging for 3 nights.

Over There
We enjoyed the solitude and feel of being in the middle of nowhere, even though we were very close to restaurants, the lighthouse and Roosevelt campobello int’l park. The hosts were so friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond to make us comfortable, and make sure we had everything we needed. We would stay here again! The kids loved seeing the rabbits, pigs and cats!

Such kind and generous hosts! It was a joy to hear about the adventures of Laura and Zoltan’s homestead and get to taste the beginning of their beer from their new brewery. Zoltan and Laura were flexible when I made a mistake in my booking dates and made me feel right at home in a cozy tenting spot. Would definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for a chill camping spot and some knowledge about exploring the area!
