Daniel was great. Easy access to Bozeman and nice clean sites. The technical side of Hipcamp and navigating the website was awful. Now I’m trying to post this review. I’ve probably put in 20 nicknames and it won’t let me as it saying it’s already taken.

After a previous not-so-great Hipcamp experience, this site was a welcome improvement! Lovely grass and treed site, with concrete parking pad, electrical and water hookups! The horses were an added aesthetic bonus. Extremely clean bathroom. Yeah, the trains came through and were loud, but not that terrible. Yeah, I-90 is right beside the campground, but didn't keep us up. We wished we could have had a fire, but there was a fire ban. Oh well. We were just there one night, but we would totally come back if we are ever traveling this way again. You won't be disappointed with this site unless you need complete silence for sleeping.

Nice!
Loving and unassuming campsite situated just a bit too close to the train and highway.
'Sterile' bathroom
Fun to see the horses in the morning
Stay away from the homes nearby no matter what
Our dog barked at one tree for some reason

There are a ton of better options.
The hosts run their dogs around the property off-leash, harbor at least one very aggressive dog (bit me and caused some pretty bad injuries to my dog) and don’t clean up after their horses when they crap in the campsites. It’s super loud because of the highway and passing trains. There are no trails or anything walkable from the campground. There’s bull thistle everywhere on the lawn, so make sure to keep shoes on and watch where your dog (which I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND bringing) is going. The shower is not warm enough to use late Sept/early Oct (daytime highs in the low 70’s). There are disabled septic connections, but don’t try. When I was staying, nobody was there more than a night or two (besides one other person), but there is a lot of traffic from people staying the night, which made me uncomfortable about leaving anything outside or in my vehicle. It was relatively inexpensive and very accessible from i90, but those are the only two perks.
Summary - if you can comfortably stay in your vehicle/trailer for the duration, don’t care about walking around, sleep deeply and are unbothered by loud noises, and don’t feel like googling something better in all ways, Godspeed…

Sweet horses
Loud train, no privacy/close sites, but clean and convenient location off the freeway. Favorite part was the 2 sweet horses on site that we got to see up close.
