Cabin 2 - Bears Den Red Room
We had a wonderful stay! The property is absolutely beautiful and you can feel the love and care that has gone into creating this little oasis. My kids especially loved all the thoughtful activities and creative touches—it kept them happily entertained and made the trip extra special for our family. The host was kind and welcoming, and we left with such great memories. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway! ❤️

This was such a wonderful get away! We stayed here after our Yellowstone adventure on the way to Glacier National Park. Pam was so accommodating and her property is lovely. The soaking tubs outside at sunset were so cool and all the outside activities were a great addition. Will definitely have to come back for a longer stay. You could have your entire own wellness retreat here. Make sure to drink the glacier water for the well! It was the best water I've ever had.

We loved our time at Pamela’s property. The cabin was quaint and comfortable. The property provided for some neat activities for my kids. They loved the music room and just getting to hang out. We only needed one night for a baseball tournament in Helena but would definitely want to go back again and have more time around the fire.

We loved staying at Pamela’s cabin in Montana. The cabins are well appointed, and Pamela has thought of everything. She has an entire shed full of toys and fun things for kids, grill for cooking and lots of other amenities. We only wish we’d been able to stay longer.

Such an adorable place! Rarely do I find sites that are so kid friendly and even rarer mid AND dog friendly. Only problem that we had was it was HOT in the cabin at night after a full day, but our host was so helpful and brought us a box fan to cool it off quicker.
The hosts were so kind and we really had a wonderful stay.

Pamela was so friendly and made our anniversary trip very special. This place truly is a hidden gem. The outdoor tubs made for a relaxing evening and the stars from our tent were the cherry on top 👍🏼

Cabin 1 - Two Dog Blue Room
What a beautiful, peaceful place with a very accommodating host. The cabin and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. There was lots to do and I had a great time with my son. We were there for a little league baseball tournament and it was so nice to have a quiet and affordable place to relax between games. Loved all the lights at night. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Pamela!

My wife and I enjoyed staying with Pamela. She has a backyard oasis that she is clearly built for her own enjoyment and for entertaining her friends that she has now opened up to HipCamp. There are no less than NINE different seating areas, including picnic tables, two gas fire pits, AND a bonfire areas; there are activities, like horseshoes and lariat roping practice and a little shed with other toys, chairs and items you might need. There is even a meditation hut! I feel like it is still missing some of camping essentials - especially a sink with a water source. Right now, the only option is a hose with a spray nozzle over a freestanding basin that drips on your feet as the water flows through it. The hose is very hard to manage - you need someone to hold the hose so you can wash your face or brush your teeth. Pamela does have some pretty claw feet tubs which you could potentially wash off/shower in but although they look like they are on a secluded hilltop in the photos, you are actually in full view of the back of the neighbor's house, as well as Pamela's tiny house.
That said, we really enjoyed our time with Pamela - she did her best to accommodate our needs, letting us borrow a cooler and setting out solar showers so that we could shower (in full view of the neighborhood but when you're dirty, you can't be choosy LOL). This is Pamela's first year on HipCamp and I think her property has great potential I recommend you stay with her if you're in the area.

Pamela’s property was very well maintained & the tent site was well groomed; quite rocky, so we couldn’t stake, but great placement for sunset/sunrise viewing. Many trees on the property, so you have privacy from neighbors & the other campers. There was another couple camping, but they were far away, on the other side of the property, quiet & we didn’t notice them until the next morning.
She’s thought of so many amenities, from the sink bowl to wash up, extra camp chairs, yard games, two gas fireplaces & 1 fire pit, to the tubs facing west for a nice evening sunset soak.
I lost service right before we go there (Verizon) but her directions were helpful & we got to the right site after a quick turn off down her personal driveway. Pamela met us upon arrival to fill us in on the property & designation of the outbuildings, where the extra amenities were stored.
The bathroom was extremely clean & well stocked.
We will be back!

Beautiful campsite! The directions provided were clear and the place was easy to find. We stayed in the two bears cabin and it had enough space for the three of us to be comfortable.
Pamela's place has so many fun amenities! We played with the board games available in the cabin. We also played horseshoe and used the meditation room which was lovely! 😊 There are other things to do like lasso and cornhole.
Pamela also recommended some fun experiences nearby which we always appreciate!
Overall, it was a lovely stay and if we lived closer we would come by often!

Pam has created the most comfortable and peaceful space! I wish we had stayed longer. The beds and cabins were cozy and there were so many outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy. Will definitely stay here again next time we are passing through or in the area.

We loved Pamela’s cozy hidden resort! We had the perfect hilltop site for tent camping with beautiful views. The solar lighting throughout the camp at night was magical. We were only minutes away from Canyon Ferry making kayaking easy and relaxing. Back at camp, we played board games in the gazebo and roasted marshmallows at the gas fire pit. We gave a good old college try at horseshoes and tried roping the plastic steers. There was something for everyone. We will definitely visit again and bring more friends 😊

The only inconvenience was no running water Made making a meal and clean up a bit of a challenge Since the weather was good the portable toilet was fine

Great stay. Pam was very responsive and helpful. There was no one else on the property while I was there so it was very peaceful, quiet and calm. I made a fire, watched the northern lights and woke up to deer outside. Cabin was clean and bed super soft. 10/10 recommend.

It's such a beautiful set up! My girlfriend and I absolutely adored every bit of the place. Pamela has created such a beautiful environment and wonderful place to relax. The antique aspect of a lot of the decor was definitely a hit for me as well. I can't wait to come back and experience such wonderful hospitality again and be able to enjoy such a beautiful camping area.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this SIMPLE and CHARMING cabin in Helena, near Hauser Lake / Missouri River. We visited Spokane Bar Sapphire Mine. There were plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained, and the layout of the cabin made it easy for us to relax while they enjoyed themselves. Our kids had an absolute blast playing outside and at the fire pit.
The PROPERTY is amongst dispersed farms/ranches, and large-lots. The host has a tiny home atop a coulee-type area. The approach is deceiving, and once down the driveway (steep), you are transported to a camping paradise. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature with wind protection and privacy, offering both tranquility and plenty of space for the kids to safely explore.
We booked the side of the cabin with the loft. It was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully furnished, a perfect retreat for our family of four. Having a bbq, portaloo, campfire and fire pits, gathering spots outside for all made meals easy. The cabin had a minifridge, microwave, and coffee device.
Pamela, our host, was incredibly kind and went out of her way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. She greeted us with a warm smile and gave us great tips on local activities. It's clear she takes great pride in ensuring her guests feel welcome and cared for, and we truly appreciated her hospitality. We can't recommend this place enough for families looking for a peaceful, enjoyable getaway!

We absolutely loved the cabin!! Everything was well thought through and perfect for a family of 3 (and our pup!). The cabins were clean and the porta potty was clean & had a light for late night trips to the bathroom. There was a fridge, coffee maker, and water jugs available to us. There was also a BBQ area outside and other things we didn’t have time to enjoy, but were so easily accessible if we had!
Pamela was there when we arrived to show us around and make sure we were set for our stay! She was a very friendly and kind host.
We will return in the future when we travel to Helena again!!

There is plenty of room to spread out here. The room was larger than expected, comfortable and quiet. The view from the cast iron tubs was a great place for the sunset. Not far from town, maybe 20mins to Spokane Bar Sapphire mines, 15-20mins to a lake our dog loved swimming in. The layout and other structures on the property remind me of a small village where people would gather in the evenings. We will definitely stay here again when we are looking for more sapphires. Thank you for the letting us enjoy your lovely property.
