Mountain View Farmstead is nestled on a quiet, family-owned, farm between Whitefish and Columbia Falls, MT. Located just minutes from the "Under the Big Sky Music Festival" and the quaint tourist town of Whitefish, MT. A 30-minute drive puts you at the west entrance of Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake or scenic Bigfork, MT. This property boasts stunning, panoramic views of the Whitefish Mountain Range. Reminiscent of days gone by, our freshly mown hay field offers a no frills, dry camping experience, with a great level, pull-thru , spot for tent camping or RV's/Campers up to 60 ft in length.

We had the best experience ! Firstly Casey was so easy to communicate with and also quick to respond. Casey's land was easily accessible and easy to find, as it was not far off the main road and plenty space for campers. Casey and his family made our weekend extra special, he definitely went the extra mile for us all. By cooking breakfast and providing fresh coffee and water each day! It was definitely a bonus. He also provided shuttles to and from the festival, which was amazing and so helpful especially for us visiting from our of town. He was so kind and thoughtful, making sure everyone was back safe on an evening. Him and his family were so welcoming and friendly and we would absolutely love to return again in the future.

Casey did a great job setting up the campsites and keeping the area clean. He truly cared about the guests staying at his property and provided a great experience for under the big sky! He offered a shuttle to and from the concert, made sure bathroom facilities were clean, and thoughtfully laid the campsites out to not overcrowd the area. Highly recommend!

The thing that makes this camp so special are the wonderful people. Casey and his family create an environment of fun and community for the UTBS festival. The location is beautiful, convenient, well laid out and very clean. Will 100% stay there again!

Stay here! Casey is the most fabulous host you’ll ever have. It’s basic camping in a field but the vibe is so welcoming. Casey is on site and happy to help with anything you need, and his communication was great. Will definitely be back!

The host was really nice very very welcoming offered ridesharing to the near venue for the concert.. nice open field of the with great views of the big sky and the surrounding mountains location was close to town, but still far enough away to see the stars

The field we camped in was beautiful and spacious. Casey was very friendly and an awesome host. Only minutes from town, but still felt like we were in the middle of nowhere which was awesome. Bathrooms were very clean. Will stay here again.

Casey is a great host! He had a little homemade breakfast burrito and coffee stand available for guests plus gave free haywagon rides directly to Under Big Sky music fest. Yes it’s dry camping w Porto pots in a simple flat field no frills but it was a very nice small group of folks with tents and a few RVs. 👍

We had a great weekend at Casey’s camp. Casey was a fantastic host who went out of his way to make sure all campers were comfortable and safe. The hay ride shuttle to and from the music festival was priceless! The camp is small and quiet compared to the larger camps closer to the festival grounds. The only caveat is that it doesn’t have running water or shade so you’ll need to come prepared.

If you're going to stay anywhere in the area -especially for Under The Big Sky- this should be your first choice. Casey was a welcoming, flexible, extremely helpful host, going above and beyond for all of the campers this weekend. Coffee, burritos, and water in the morning, AWESOME system getting to and from the festival, not to mention absolutely gorgeous piece of land. You won't find a host that will make you feel more at home. Absolute 10/10. Thanks Casey!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casey's place, and it was an incredible experience. Casey was an amazing host who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Every morning, he brought out fresh coffee, which was a delightful start to the day. Additionally, there was always ice-cold water available, which was perfect for the hot days. Casey checked up on us regularly to ensure everything was going well and to see if we needed anything. His attention to detail and genuine care made our stay exceptional. I highly recommend staying at Casey's place! To make it better it’s just 7 minutes away from Big Mountain Ranch is located.

We loved camping on Casey's land. Casey was a fantastic host and we are so grateful for that! The bathrooms were clean, and water and coffee were provided. If we come back to the festival next year, Casey will be our first choice!!

I cannot speak highly enough about Casey. If you want to support an honest to God, hardworking, genuine rancher that's from the valley - THIS is where you stay. When we arrived he met us at the start of the driveway and let us pick our area to camp. He offered to mow the grass down more or told us we were welcome to do it ourselves. There was a portapotty on site along with a table set up next to it where we could find freshly brewed coffee in the mornings, along with cups, creamer, and a cooler stocked with water. He checked in on us each morning wondering if there was any more he could do to help accommodate. Our weekend went sideways and I won't go into the details, but Casey was a tremendous help. It's the middle of hay season and he has livestock to tend to meanwhile he's going above and beyond for guests. We've been coming to Whitefish for Under the Big Sky since the festival began and have stayed at a different place each year. If Casey is hosting next year, this is where we will be. It was affordable, his hospitality was incredible, and I love knowing my money went to someone who's actually ranching. I cannot express enough gratitude. Thanks again, Casey.
