What wonderful spot! The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen & bath are easily accessed next to the sleeping quarters. The astronaut toilet is cool. When I get home, I’m getting one just for shits & giggles. All sorts of outdoor seating options with a gas fire pit. Great view too - you can see Canada from there!

The tipi is wonderful! Very comfy bed, quiet and peaceful surroundings with a great view! Complete with hummingbirds, chipmunks, and deer. Nicely appointed kitchen and bathroom with all you could need. Will be back!

We loved everything about the Tipi! Beautiful views. Sitting by the fire. Cozy bed. They have thought of everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be back!

Recently, I was looking for a mini adventure for me and my grandkids. Well, James’s teepee was so perfect. His beautiful spread is located on the side of a Mt. The view includes Lake Koocanusa. He provides literally everything one needs. All you need are clothes and food, literally.
The Teepee is beautifully tricked out with a queen bed, stuffed lounge chairs and twinkle lights. On the platform the teepee is located, one can sit in the chairs provided to watch the stars or drink your morning coffee. The bathroom and kitchen just need to be experienced. Lots of fun stuff to do around this location. So fun from start to finish. We will be back for sure. Thank you, James!!!

It was a awesome experience to stay in a tipi .It was a very pleasant an peaceful stay. The views were breathtaking .
The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. There was way more amenities then expected. I would rate this a 5⭐.

Perfect spot just a few minutes away from Koocanusa, we loved staying here and would definitely come back again some day! :)

I’m really not a huge camper per se but more of a glamper and Jim’s place was perfect. The tipi had a ridiculously comfy bed plus all the amenities (hot water, shower, stove, toilet, kettle, reclining lounge chairs for stargazing) and the grounds were beautiful. Oh, the view! It’s the best of both worlds, being comfortable yet still being immersed in nature. Plus, the rustic feel and novelty of staying in a tipi made our trip rock. Highly recommend.
