For the price it’s definitely the best in the area. Easy access to whitefish and to glacier!
It’s just two tent pads on the front garden of their house with some portapotties (that are very full). They provided water to wash your dishes also but no potable water which we knew in advance so that’s all good! You can hear the highway all night but it didn’t disturb me. Essentially, if you want an area to camp that’s not filled with families and don’t mind a lack of nature/proper amenities then this is the perfect place for you. We felt safe the whole time and would recommend :)

Safe and simple place for me to park my van and sleep for the night. I didn’t spend much time there other than that. I was at site #1 and there wasn’t anyone next to me in site #2. Easy drive to both Whitefish and West Glacier with grocery stores close by too.

I loved the yurt it was so cute and comfy. They paid attention to details. Has a cute electric fireplace to keep you warm on cold nights. No shower on property but down the road there is a place you can shower (5$ cash clean). Convenient porta potties with well lit path to get to them.

Great little space if you need a place to set up a tent. Shaded enough to keep the area cool and despite being in someone’s front yard it felt private. Great price for what you get and the proximity to downtown and glacier is perfect. Would stay again.

Friendly host, convenient place to stay, comfy/cute yurt....spent 4 days, 3 nights with our kid and dogs. Played cards every night, used the yurt's kettle every morning to make coffee. Very pleasant experience. We would come back again :)

The space was very well maintained and the hosts were kind people. Site #2 is shaded in early morning but in full sun the rest of the day. It was very quiet and peaceful here. The site was open and next to site #1, so in full view with no privacy. There's a laundromat in town with laundry, a first-come, first-serve private shower for $5.50 (in quarters or card reader - if its working), a mobile coffee hut and a car wash. Close to Glacier west side entrance (20 minutes) and everything needed in a town.

my fiancé and i absolutely adored this stay! from the spacious area to the accommodations, it was truthfully a blast! the yurt was well equipped with fans that recharge and an electric fireplace that kept us warm all night! Definitely lots of mosquitoes though, would bring a zapper or bug spray next time!

I had a great experience on Don’s land! I felt safe as a solo female camper, everything was incredibly clean and tidy, and it was very pleasant and quiet at night. I would recommend this site!

I loved how near the campsite was. 30min to Glacier NP, 5min to Columbia Falls and just a few minutes from a 24hour Supermarket. The campsite is very welcoming and well laid out. It was a great place to base myself for a few nights.

I showed up in semi off season for a tent site! They were so kind and offered the yurt as it was unoccupied and forecast of rain. There is very clean toilet and I slept so well! The hospitality was very kind and appreciated.

We had an awesome stay in the yurt! The owner was very accommodating and was able to give us some great recommendations for off-season hikes in Glacier. We also loved that we were able to bring our dog!

SIte 3 - YURT
We stayed in the yurt and it was perfect. They have a double sized mattress and a cot. It was ideal for our family of three. The electric fireplace kept it toasty. The outdoor fire pit was also a great experience.

The yurt was really cute and the hosts were so nice. They set up a fire in an outdoor stove for us, which was lovely to come back to after a long day. We were also pleasantly surprised to have a power source for lights and heat (and to charge our devices). My kids and I loved it.

This yurt was awesome. Perfect for a quick stay. The heater came in handy as the nights are getting cooler now. The yard is well kept and in a great location just off the highway. Also appreciated the bonfire Don had made us before we arrived!

Two nice sites. Booked one on a last minute plan. Semi private sites and clean area. Don is very nice. Traffic from the highway is a little noisy but for the price and location it's worth it.

Clean, well furnished and comfortable, and not far from town or restaurants. Right off the highway, so some road noise on arrival, but it quieted down once it got dark.

It was a little hard to find because my maps were taking me to the first houses on the street. It is a little farther back on the left side of the street. Everything was perfect and such a cute little yurt! My dog and I enjoyed our stay. Thank you Don!

Straightforward, easy stay. Some highway noise so would recommend ear plugs if you need total quiet. Easy parking and clean porta potties. Extension cord available to plug in your phone at night. Nice hosts, had good recommendation for dinner.

Don’s place was very quiet and easy find. I never met the hosts, but directions were good and no problems with site. Nice and close to the Amtrak station and downtown Whitefish. I would stay here again. * * * * *

Fantastic place to stay just out of town. Yurt was a little gem, very comfortable, light and bright. Don was a great host, prepared to offer local advice, and looked after the facilities well. Thanks for a wonderful stay and a break from our little tent.
