Site 4 - Ellison Ranch Camp
Beautiful River Site!
Such a beautiful spot right by the river! We brought our dogs and they absolutely loved exploring. I usually pick places that feel very remote with no one else around and this was perfect. There was an occasional car that passed by on the main dirt road but you’re tucked away where you really don’t notice. The drive in was gorgeous with mountain views and rolling hills. The signage is a little confusing when it comes to finding the spot but Kent was super helpful when our friend meeting us there got confused. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful spot by a river. Can’t wait to visit again!

Amazing place, exceeded all expectations and more! Maximum privacy, very clean and relaxing. The kids loved the water and the sand. We even met the property manager who was extremely helpful and kind, showed us where to get the potable water and helped us with our flat tire on the trailer. West boulder trailhead and campground super close. We ended up not hiking that one but we did drive our UTV all the way west on swingley rd and hiked Elephant trailhead with the kids which is right next to Livingston trailhead (did not look very traveled). Bring Bear Spray! We booked an additional night on this wonderful campground site and we will definitely return in the fall!

Loved camping here!!! Beautiful area and lots of space. Need to be careful with little ones due to the proximity of the river and its current. Would camp here again.

Beautiful private mountain campsite
This was a beautiful site! We loved it. The river was right by the site and we saw lots of antelope on the mountainsides. The host was very hospitable and let us hike around. The views were breath taking.

Site 1 - Ellison Ranch Camp
Beautiful, clean, generous campsite
Beautiful site - even though it is next to the ranch road, there was only a handful of vehicles that drove past over the 2 days and nights we spent. The area was large, flat/level with soft short grass. No mud or rocks. Or cowpies. We enjoyed seeing and hearing a large variety of birds, like ouzel, nighthawks, gold finch, and many others feeding on the hatch. Also had a great expansive view of the rolling rangeland and mountains with weather/clouds rolling by. Peaceful, pleasant, would definitely come back. Turn off your cellphone and bring a book.
