This 50-acre property is part of a 130-acre farm and is currently an organic heirloom vegetable seed farm that is only 12 minutes from Ann Arbor. Part of it was formerly owned by the Egeler family who at one time owned quite a bit of Marshall Rd and this part of was owned by the Mersereau family. It was formerly a conventional farm, but we've converted it to organic production. The rolling land is 1/2 forest and 1/2 fields, making it a biodiverse hot spot for plants, animals, and fungi.

Site 9 is a favorite for being a secluded site. A 10-15 minute hike from the farmstead, it sits at the top of a hill with a beautiful view to the South. You will likely hear coyotes at night and get a great view of the stars here. It has firewood for sale. At your request, we can provide a table and chairs.. It is a 10 minute walk to the portapotty so plan to pack your waste out or go for an early morning run.

Sunrise Hill

Sunrise Hill is a secluded site in the Northwest corner of a field and at the top of a hill. A 10-15 minute hike from the farmstead, it sits at the top of a hill with a beautiful view to the South. You will likely hear coyotes at night and get a great view of the stars here. Firewood from Number 9 or Sunrise Meadow can be carried to this site. At your request, we can provide a table and chairs. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the portapotty so plan to pack your waste out or go for an early morning run.

Sunrise Meadow

Site 5 Sunrise is a 5-10 minute hike from the farmstead and is on the edge of a field and faces east with morning sun and has shade in the afternoon and evening. It has firewood for sale. At your request, we can provide a table and chairs.. It is a 10 minute walk to the portapotty so plan to pack your waste out or go for an early morning run. Sometimes this site is closed for special events without advance notice.

Sunset Meadow

Sunset Meadow is a seldom used and secluded site on the east side of a field. A 10-15 minute hike from the farmstead, it sits midslope on a hill with a beautiful views all around. You will likely hear coyotes at night and get a great view of the stars here. Firewood from Sunrise or site 9 can be carried to this site. At your request, we can provide a table and chairs. It is a 10 minute walk to the portapotty so plan to pack your waste out or go for an early morning run.

Amazing Trip!

We absolutely loved our stay on Michael’s land! We stayed at Site 9 so we had a very secluded spot with an amazing view. It was very quiet and peaceful. The only downside was it was quite a walk back and forth to the porta potty, something to keep in mind, but we didn’t mind the walk, it was nice scenery to walk through.

Sunrise Hill

We really enjoyed our stay here! We had a concert in Ann Arbor and needed a place to camp for the night and this place was great! The property is big and we were all the way in the back of their property and there was no one else around. It felt like we were backcountry camping even though we were right in someone's backyard. The hosts were so kind and welcoming when we arrived too. They even invited us to join their bonfire gathering when we got back from the concert.

Tent Only2 - Organic Farm Ann Arbor

We loved our stay on Michael's land. It was so helpful to have firewood at the site and our morning views were beautiful. The portapotty was really clean too and we didn't mind the walk from the campsite to the bathroom/our cars. Site 9 is truly worth it! We got to see so many different birds and felt like the only people for miles around. We will definitely return!
