Situated west of Highway 127 and North of Highway 46 in Alma (Gratiot County), Michigan, this peaceful and tranquil property allows you to get away from it all, but still close to everything you need. Only a 5 minute drive into Alma, a 8 minute drive to Shepherd and a 15 minute drive to Mt. Pleasant. Situated right in the middle of the state, you're no more than 2 hours drive from anything. On your way to or from "Up North"? Stop in for a night or more. Ride your bikes to Forest Hills Park (approximately 1 mile away) to watch the wildlife or hike in through the trails. Kick off your shoes and just relax or whatever your idea of fun and relaxation is. We are happy to accommodate you and your family and other pet friendly dogs.Reach out to host as location of camp site on property can be flexible. You can park/camp near the home on a gravel driveway or you can access the grassy yard away from the house for more privacy. I am happy to share photos/maps of the available areas to camp or we can review when you get here.

Wind Swept

Wind Swept was fabulous! The grounds were peaceful and our host, Ed, was so accommodating! It was raining and he was out there to help us get all situated. We worked in the am before we departed and the view around us was so calming. We brought with us our Verizon internet box we had no problems with 5G service. We will be returning! Thank you Ed for the wonderful stay!

Gorgeous and Serene!

Gorgeous property, beautifully maintained, serene spot, and gracious host! We were only able to stay for one night, but it was a lovely experience. Ed and Calvin are very kind. The kids loved the chickens and my dog loved running around with their dog. Ed helped us set up and ensured our smooth departure. Highly recommend this spot.
