This hidden gem offers a tranquil escape for nature lovers, with its two distinct sections: sites 1-11 located on the expansive Big Leverentz Lake and sites 12-18 on the serene Little Leverentz Lake. Guests can enjoy direct access to the Sheep Ranch Pathway from both sections of the campground, making it an ideal spot for hiking and exploring the surrounding wilderness. Fishing enthusiasts will appreciate the excellent opportunities available, particularly at Big Leverentz Lake, which features a convenient boat launch and a 50-foot floating dock, perfect for casting a line. Located in Lake County, just 2.7 miles east of Baldwin via US-10 and Forest Drive, this campground is easily accessible. All sites are suitable for tents and small trailers, with some accommodating larger 30-foot trailers or vehicles. Please note that camping is limited to a maximum stay of 15 days. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water sourced from a hand-pump well, ensuring a comfortable camping experience in this natural paradise.
