Here, guests can immerse themselves in the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean, swimming, building sandcastles, beachcombing for driftwood, magical rocks, and shells, or observing the local aquatic wildlife, lobster boats, and majestic schooners—all from the comfort of their campsite. Painters and photographers will find endless inspiration without ever needing to leave the grounds. Each campsite at Lobster Buoy is conveniently located within 150 yards of the shore, catering to both tent campers and RV enthusiasts. Every site features a grassy area, picnic table, and fire ring, ensuring a comfortable outdoor experience. Guests can enjoy hot showers and flush toilets, while a dump station is available for those needing sewer services. During July and August, a small campsite store provides essentials such as ice and campfire wood. Founded in 1969 by Fred and Mabel Batty, Lobster Buoy began with just five campsites and has gradually expanded to forty, all while maintaining a commitment to simplicity and the charm of traditional camping.
