We had an amazing stay at the Mini! The space was beautiful and the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We loved going kayaking on their lake, and would definitely recommend staying here!

Cyndy’s wonderful a-frame was cozy, scenic, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed kayaking on the pond and the waterside fire pit. The site was clean, accommodating, and relaxing. We’d love to return, and recommend this spot to others!

We had a great time staying at the mini for 2 nights. The cabin is very cozy and comfortable and there’s all the supplies you’d need for a fun and relaxing weekend by a lake. We loved kayaking on the lake, lounging on the hammocks, and sitting by the fire at night. It was a little less secluded than we thought it’d be, at least the mini itself and the kitchen area, but there are secluded areas and overall we had a great, relaxing time on David Pond

We loved everything about the mini! The provided kitchen supplies and grill were a huge help. We also got to see a bald eagle when kayaking around the pond. Highly recommend.

The lake is beautiful, the site is stocked with the basics of everything you need, having a fire at night and watching the loons was amazing and the host is responsive and friendly. Approximately an hour away from Acadia with a lot of lovely little towns to explore in between. This was our second time there for our annual Maine trip and we had a really lovely time.

Beautiful campsite with everything you need for a perfect stay! We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, visiting the eagles on the island and picking blueberries. Was really nice to have a hot shower after swimming and kayaking in the lake. Awesome that Cyndy provides firewood and kindling. Not far from Acadia. Would definitely return!

Great stay at Cyndy’s “mini” A-frame. We loved it from the moment she gave us the tour. Such a great area of Maine, off the beaten path, enjoying a quiet slice of life. We cooked, sat at the waters edge, kayaked over to the eagles nest, listened to the Loons, tried to make friends with the muskrats nearby and built a fire to enjoy with the sunset then didn’t want to leave when it came time. Thank you Cyndy for sharing this area with everyone.

Wonderful glamping experience! Your own little slice of lakeside paradise. The included firewood, grill, and kayaks brought so much value to our stay. We would love to come back again.

This was an amazing site and we had a wonderful time! So peaceful, tranquil and lovely escape into nature. The pond was nice for a swim, we used the kayaks both days and enjoyed cooking many meals on the grill :) Cyndy was very kind and helpful and the whole site is cute and comfy. Highly recommend
and we will be back next time we are in the area!

The Mini was adorable, cozy, and perfect for a getaway. Cyndy and Amy were excellent hosts, provided everything we needed and gave excellent recommendations for places to visit in the area. The kayaks were a real treat and the lake was just lovely. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We had an amazing weekend in the Mini! We enjoyed kayaking to see eagles on the nearby island, talking by the fire, and listening to the birds around camp. We will definitely come back!

What a gorgeous and peaceful spot! You can't ask for more if you are in search of respite and relaxation. Very generous and helpful hosts, comfy and cozy bed, convenient toilet & shower, grill, even kayaks and a fire pit. Loved our stay!

We loved staying in this beautiful A-Frame cabin! Such a peaceful and quiet spot right on the waters edge. We especially loved the little point where we could relax in the hammocks. Perfect spot for swimming and kayaking in the warmer months.
Cyndy was very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend this spot if you want a quiet, little getaway!

Wow! This was an amazing value. Cyndy and Amy (and the neighbors :)) were most hospitable. The bed was very comfortable and the shower wonderfully warm for the temperature. The view was great! It was so quiet. I would definitely recommend and I would love to come back.

Peace serenity beautiful spot. A tight a frame but a short walk from the parking spot so easily can store extras in your car.
Early morning no tiny bugs in the open air bathroom but later morning at least in mid September warm day a swarm of small bugs around the toilet seats. It’s a seasonal thing. Mind you not flies like we think of house flies around trash. Tiny flying bugs. If you’re looking for perfection this isn’t glamping city style. But for peace and quiet neighbors (they are right next door) a meandering path through the wooded area separating fire pit a frame and hammock area it was lovely. The bathroom didn’t smell at all either. Just nature and bugs. If you can’t handle it…. It’s not the place for you. Otherwise lovely. I will be back. Helpful flexible kind hosts sharing a slice of heaven.

We loved staying at the Lakeside Mini. It was the perfect set up for what we needed. It was so peaceful kayaking out on the lake. Both Cyndy and Amy were super helpful and were terrific hosts. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Maine.

Great hidden gem!
Easy to find, a lot of privacy, fantastic view of Chick Hill, all the amenities provided and the mini is very cozy and the hosts were excellent!

Great camping experience! They keep everything well stocked so there is really everything you need to have a relaxing camping weekend. (the bed is also very comfortable)
There's some great lake views, we really enjoyed swimming there as well. Would stay again

The Lakeside Mini is SUCH a special place! Cyndy and Amy were extremely helpful and informative and responded quickly to questions. They are excellent hosts. The spot itself is absolutely dreamy. The sleeping A-frame is so cozy and comfortable, the "kitchen" area is full of supplies you might need, and the eating area is covered and offers a filtered view of the lake. THEN walk down the cute boardwalk to the lakeside firepit and you'll realize the star of the show is the lake! It's right there. There are two kayaks and life jackets you can use, as well as multiple spots to sit and even two hammocks to relax on the peninsula. I had the most magical time and didn't want to leave! Loons calling and kayaking out to see the eagles' nest were hightlights. I will definitely be back to this little slice of heaven- the hard work and care that has been put into this land is very evident. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a lovely time in the Mini. The rain was a bummer when we first arrived, but the picnic table was perfectly covered by a canopy and the Mini was dry. Once the sun came out later on, we had an amazing time swimming and boating and reading by the lake. It's a very charming little spot, and the hosts were super friendly and accommodating.

I loved my stay at the mini on Cyndy and Amy’s land! I wish I would have had an extra night to explore the pond on their kayak but I really loved swimming with the time I had. Also, as a solo female traveller I felt very safe and I would very much like to book again in the future if I ever find myself in Maine ✨
