Very remote area, yet cozy with other house boats and only about 1.5 hours from New Orleans. Great for disconnecting and relaxation. This stay is all about the great outdoors. Sleeps 10 total (6 comfortably) and is prettyCome explore the Louisiana Bayou! Take in the beautiful, serene views of the bayou from the Houseboat or exploration by kayak. The houseboat is similar to an RV on the water. It has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms with flushing toilets, two showers, one bathtub, a kitchen with dish washer, refrigerator and stove and a living room and dining area.

The Summertime Bayou Houseboat

We loved the houseboat! It had everything we needed, was very cozy and very functional. The location is gorgeous. We went on walks, hung out on the upper deck and hot tub, where bald eagles and osprey dove for fish in the river beside us.
