3rd generation family owned farm. Hiking trails around property. Hiking available on Corp of Engineers and Eisenhower State Park property. Hiking trails to and around Melvern Lake. Farm land was taken by the government in the 1970s and developed in to what became Melvern Lake. Farm was originally a dairy and is now farmed for hay production only. Friendly farm dog chickens, horses and cats. Quiet little camp site tucked away in the woods. Learn more about this land: Pitch your tent, nice small 8x10 cabin site to use as base camp. 1 mile hike in from parking to camping. Transport of gear, passengers and supplies to site by 6 seater 4 wheeler if needed. Short walk to Melvern lake from camp site. Water and port a pottie provided at site. Pick up your own dead fall fire wood or purchase at 5$ per bundle. Farm fresh eggs 2$ per dozen. Transport of kayaks and passengers to State Park boat ramp with scheduled pick up available for additional price.
