🍽 Farm-to-Table Bed and Breakfast 🌲 Retreats • Workshops • Apothecary 🍅 Apiary • Farm • Labyrinth • Camping • Trails • Therapeutic Bodywork ⚜️ Located in Clark State Forest, just 25 minutes north of Louisville, Kentucky, past the Sellersburg exit. More than a destination, Wild Indigo is a living sanctuary rooted in 111 acres of woodlands, wetlands, and trails, where conservation, creativity, and commUnity flourish together. It is a place where guests can reconnect with themselves through the wisdom of the forest. Tucked into the forest just off our quiet private residential road, this spacious campsite offers plenty of room for a large RV or camper, multiple vehicles, tents, and group camping. The road is shared with a handful of neighbors, so an occasional car may pass, but the site itself feels wonderfully private and immersed in the woods. We’ve intentionally kept the surrounding trees and branches lush to create a natural screen from the road while still allowing vehicle access. There’s ample space to spread out, string hammocks between the trees, pitch additional tents, and gather together beneath the canopy. Best of all, the campsite connects directly to our private trail system, so you can step out of camp and straight into the woods. Or, hit the trail down to the pond. Directly off the road, at the second highest knob in Indiana, you will find yourself surrounded by a Native wildflower meadow and multiple immediate trailheads to venture down! FOREST CONDITIONS This is a living forest, not a manicured campground. Expect hills, roots, rocks, fallen branches, mud, wet ground, insects, ticks, poison ivy, wildlife, and changing natural conditions. Bring sturdy footwear, a flashlight or headlamp, seasonal clothing, and your preferred insect protection. Remain on established paths whenever possible and check yourself regularly for ticks. FOOD, TRASH + WILDLIFE Secure all food, beverages, toiletries, trash, and scented items when not in use. Never feed wildlife or leave food scraps behind. Place trash in the designated receptacle or pack it out when you leave. CELL SERVICE Cell service is generally strong throughout Wild Indigo Forest Farm, making it easy to check the weather, share photos, or reach us during your visit. You are also welcome to set your phone aside, breathe deeply, and enjoy uninterrupted time in the forest. PETS + PEACEFUL HOURS Approved pets must remain supervised and under their guardian’s control. Please prevent pets from chasing wildlife, roaming unattended, entering sensitive habitats, or disturbing other guests. Always dispose of pet waste properly. Keep voices, music, and lighting at a respectful level, especially during the evening and early morning. Allow the owls, frogs, insects, wind, and water to become your nighttime soundtrack. LEAVE NO TRACE Please leave your campsite as beautiful—or even more beautiful—than you found it. Do not damage, disturb, or remove plants, trees, mushrooms, stones, feathers, nests, or wildlife. Welcome, Friend of the Forest. Breathe deeply, wander gently, and let the land hold you for a while.
