Great place to camp!
The owner Martin and his son met us down the road to help us find the place and they were very nice and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place if you need a place to camp. It was secluded and just a nice property in all.

Deep Woods Getaway
No wifi, no electricity, no water, no toilet -- it was amazing! We wanted to get away from it all for a couple nights and this spot did not disappoint! We brought the doggos (one of them had their first camping trip)!
We enjoyed hiking around the spot, including down the creek bed to the bottom of the waterfall, we couldnt find the on switch for the waterfall (j/k waterfall was dry, thanks Indiana June mini drought)!
We definitely recommend getting firewood from Martin, it was inexpensive and perfectly seasoned! He was also incredibly friendly and willing to go above and beyond. We also found quite a bit lying around the property.
Tons of owls and birds to set the mood for a relaxing weekend. If you're looking for a deep woods spot with no interference, you've found it!

This has become my favorite site! I go often for short trips away from it all. If you are unsure…just reserve it! You won’t regret the peace.

Very private spot in the middle of nowhere which is where I want to be
Completely shaded and the waterfall canyon keeps the area cool. The owner is super nice and a wonderful person.

This is a VERY unique opportunity to camp about 20 paces from a ravine with a waterfall (during rainy weather) . Your hosts are helpful and try to accommodate reasonable requests. I enjoyed speaking with the hosts and should you want to talk they have lead interesting libes

I was amazed by the uniqueness of the landscape, warm hospitality from Mr.Martin and his son David. It’s that feeling when the people and the place exceed your expectations.
Nature helped me take a break from the routine of days, fill with energy and get closer to the origins of nature.
My great gratitude for the opportunity to breathe clean air and enjoy silence.
Hope to come back soon.

Pleasant and Private Camping
From the secluded spot in the woods next to a small waterfall, we heard a large variety of different animal sounds ranging from coyotes to roosters. We even had an owl hooting in the tree directly above our fire. Martin and his wife provided us with firewood and were very helpful with directions even with our arriving late in the night.

Perfect little spot.
Amazing!! This is the best of both worlds…a truly rustic and private campsite that you can drive up to. I camp often and plan on returning as often as I can.

Great spot to camp if you’re looking for something isolated and away from everything. The host, Martin, was very friendly and had firewood available for a great price.

Pristine and Beautiful heartland
Martin has shared a gem! Martin is a kind and aware host of a most beautiful location. You can drive right up to his clearing in the forest, and hear no traffic. We heard wild turkeys, woodpeckers, wolves and more. There is a set of trees for a hammock. Martin put in a simple firepit, and is generous with firewood. A short wooded walk behind the campsite is a ravine with a waterfall, just like the public turkey run park -- but untouched! (There was only a trickle of water in late spring) This is no tourist location; on the way to Martin's site we passed a few amish carriages, farmland, past log cabins, and through historic covered bridges (look up a covered bridge guide - a few are on route!), and real people who know their neighbors in hilly forest and farmland. We had no cell phone reception in the area - except perfect reception at the site :)
Caveat: We got lost on the way to our campsite, and Martin drove out to rescue us (thank you!) Even the main roads are mostly gravel (we saw many local people driving ATVs), gps/google maps cannot find the location. The street names have numbers in them, and have all recently changed as well. *Be sure to ask for thorough directions and a map*!!
I hope you take time to find this place!
