To the north through the woods you can see old lake, and to the east is privately owned hunting ground so plenty of opportunities to encounter beautiful wildlife such as deer, and birds of various sorts. Lake access with a boat launch is located just around the corner about a half mile , so be sure to bring your kayaks, canoes, stand up paddle boards, or this winter bring your ice fishing gear!
