amazing property and even better host. A ton of open space for kids to play but that also means a lot of sunshine (highly suggest a canopy so you can get some shade in the open space).
toilet was top notch! and a nice cold shower will make you feel so refreshed after a hot sunny day. my kids loved seeing and hearing animals near by.
grass and trail was very well maintained and host was always able to help with anything we needed during our stay. FYI your car will be parked away from the campsite. by no worries, host will gladly help you bring your equipment down to your site with his trailer.

If you want space and privacy, this is a terrific choice. In need of an escape from the city, our family made the very doable drive down from Chicago. The camping site itself is rustic enough to enjoy the natural setting, but there are enough amenities to easily make yourself comfortable.
Jason's land is beautiful, tranquil, and very well-kept. Acres of prairie and woods interlaced with established trails and clearings are a terrific setting for a simple camping getaway or potentially a more lively group trip.
The host was accommodating, friendly, and informative. We felt welcome, but not looked-on whatsoever. Privacy is easy to find here.
Our two high-energy dogs took advantage of the space and were able to spend the whole weekend off-leash without issue.

I recently had an incredible camping experience at a fantastic location. Jason assisted us with settling in, ensuring we could fully enjoy our time there. Activities such as hiking, fishing, and relaxing around a campfire under the starlit sky were thoroughly enjoyable. The perfect weather and clear skies enhanced our outdoor adventures even more. This trip provided a rejuvenating escape, combining relaxation with thrilling outdoor activities. I highly recommend this location, especially for anyone seeking a spacious private campground experience as I have 3 dogs that enjoyed there.

This was the second time that I've gone to Jason's awesome site. The site is incredible and impeccably maintained, and Jason is an amazing host. There are many awesome places to raise a tent.
The outhouse is truly world class.

J&M Acres is my favorite local camp spot! Beautiful land and so many birds! Jason is so welcoming and kind- excellent host! We loved touring the property and seeing the barn kitties, goats, chickens and ducks.
This was a perfect spot to camp with our 2 cats. We loved going for walks on the trails around the camp. Can't wait to be back in the fall!

Jason and Megan were awesome hosts. Their property is amazing and there’s plenty of space to roam around. Jason loaded us up with plenty of firewood and hauled all of our things to the site for us and Megan hauled it all back. We will definitely be repeat campers. Thank you guys so much for such an awesome time!! It was great to meet both of you.

Wonderful retreat for our small family:) Lots of trails to explore, that have been made by the host. The land is vast and the host has a vision! We had a nice time grilling and relaxing in nature. Host was very helpful and so was the neighbor! Host had some recs for local spots to check out, which we did. Thanks!

We really liked Jason’s place for camping. He was very helpful from the first day I booked the place. He made the whole planing easy and was quick in answering my questions. When we arrive on the weekend of our camping trip, he was there to help out with anything we needed. Our family liked the privacy we had and we all had fun camping, and exploring the trials. I will definitely return with my family again.

Jason's property is absolutely fabulous. We spent our 1 full day walking his trails and exploring. I love all the wild flowers and grasses on the sides of the trails. Jason was extremely welcoming, and loved showing us around his property on his golf cart. He even carted our stuff down and back from the camping area. He was extremely kind, and we would absolutely come again. He recommended a few cool spots nearby for hiking, dining, and a local brewery. We loved his place so much we didn't want to leave so stayed there during the full duration of our stay. This would be such a perfect spot for a family reunion. We encountered no issues during our stay. The out house was very clean, and had no smell. There is even an automatic light that comes on when you open the door.
We are already looking at days we can organize a little family get together on his property. The only downside I can think of is his wonderful property is so far away from where we live. So if you live close there's no downsides!

We loved all the space on Jason’s land! The trails and nooks felt so serene, and we were happy to find some shady areas for the very hot days. Plus, nothing beats that cold shower surrounded by trees! So refreshing. We also found it helpful that they provided tables and chairs. We’ll definitely be returning!

He described the property as his little slice of heaven and I do have to agree. The property is amazing and Jason is a great host. He had a golfcart ready with a few trailers to help us take everything up and down to the site. He also was readily available if we needed anything. For those hikers out there, Jason has made many paths for you to explore. We also noticed a farm stand down the street with all the fresh produce you could want for your trip. My groups favorite part of the experience at J&M acres was being able to see all the stars in the night sky. I highly recommend this site if your looking for that next lunar or stellar event. I know my group will be going back and you should definitely consider this property, especially if your looking for a hidden gem.

Jason and his wife are awesome hosts, and their grounds are simply impressive, and maintained to a very high standard. I love the little pathways around the property, lots of very cool little nooks and multiple huge open spaces.
We had a great time, and i’ve never seen my dog as content and happy. The outhouse is amazingly clean.
The raised platform was perfect for food prep and dining!

J&M Acres is a beautiful, large campground with a helpful and friendly host. There is plenty of space to spread out, great views, lit paths, and a nice outhouse/shower. It was a wonderful peaceful camping experience, and we felt like we had plenty of space to do our own thing without bothering anyone. I highly recommend it!

One of the best places I have ever camped! Jason and his wife were so friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. The trailer to haul our gear back made getting in and out a breeze. The site area is super private, with plenty of space for a big group. We were a group of 8 people + 3 dogs -- our 4 tents were plenty spaced out. There's a platform with tables that was perfect for cooking and eating. The outhouse was really nice -- the windows meant it never smelled bad or felt stuffy. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their land and take good care of it.
My family was getting together for a surprise for my dad's 60th birthday, which meant not everyone coming at the same time. Jason was so helpful in making the surprise happen. Everyone had an amazing time, and we hope to come back again

My family of about 16 or so went out this past weekend to camp out and we couldnt of had a better time. From the second we got there Jason was there to greet us and help up take our things up to the campsite. He was attentive and overall the best host! My guest and I appreciated everything Jason did for us. His land is beautiful and he maintains the space so well. There are chairs and tables and he let us borrow the charcoal grill which we loved. The outhouse with the bathroom and shower were nice and clean and very close to our camping space. We will definitely be returning and we want to make this a new yearly tradition for our family.

This was my first visit at a private campground and Jason was amazing. Compared to public campgrounds you have so much space. He also provides firewood for free! Enjoyed every aspect of the stay. Only qualm is lack of wifi because the signal wasn't strong, but still will visit again.

This is a fantastic place to stay! I've been back 4 times now and can't recommend this place enough. It is a super private spot with room for lot of tents and space for dogs to run wild.

Jason & Megan are awesome! They are super helpful & the land was perfect to camp on. It was great for the kiddos to run around on the trails & play hide/seek. There was an abundance amount of room at the site, could easily accommodate 30 people. As many problems as we encountered personally during the trip, Jason & Megan were super helpful. Thank you!!
We even ventured down the Yellow river on Saturday. Very close to the campsite & easily accessible!

This was our second time camping here, and I cannot recommend it enough. Jason is incredibly accommodating and helpful. The land itself is fantastic, huge open spaces plenty of campsite locations so easy for groups, prebuilt firepit with a cooking tripod, a deck, and the cleanest camping bathroom you could hope for. Great location for heading to nearby lakes and state parks. It's also less than 2 hours from Chicago! We will absolutely be back soon!

We had the most pressure free weekend I can remember after deciding at last minute to camp with our two kids at Jason and Megan’s. The accommodations were unique and fun if you love nature like we do. The fact that we had it all to ourselves was priceless. The only visitors were periodic wildlife that came to check us out. The shower was in fact cold but the use of it for running water was a great help. Jason was on point with helping and communicating. He and Megan, their neighbor and visitors were all so laid back and kind. Whether you have four people or a whole big group this place is so relaxing and away from it all. I would go again!

I almost don’t want to write this so I can keep this gem of a hip camp for myself! This spot is perfect! My group of 6 adults and 8 kids (ages 5-10) had a blast. Here are the highlights for us:
- walking paths throughout the property that gave the kids freedom to roam
- an nearly perfect outhouse. Great distance away but not too far. Not stinky.
- access to a charcoal grill and fire pit with tripod. We love camping cooking and took advantage of the options
- a raised platform with 6 tables and chairs. Enough to have a cooking table, food table, water bottles table and a dining table.
- close access to tippecanoe state park
- hosts were thoughtful and easy to communicate with.

What a magical place! The pics on here don't really capture the beauty of the place. Well kept lawns and paths, but still has the secluded feel with some nice trails through the forested areas. Jason was a great host, even buying us some ponchos when we had to load out in the rain. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend this place!

Jason was incredibly welcoming and his property is nothing shy of perfect. We had the whole place to ourselves for a group of 6 + 2 dogs and it could have probably accommodated a few dozen between the two campsites. The campsites are set towards the back of the property allowing for total privacy. Jason took our gear out there in a couple trips no problem with his tractor which made our lives easy.
The camping area we stayed in was clean, enormous, had two metal tables, a number of metal chairs, a charcoal grill, a firepit with cooking tripod and grate and a large, elevated wood platform. Jason was also generous enough to stock plenty of wood for us too.
We had a great time enjoying the trails cutting through the property and the beautiful sunsets from the swings at the second campsite area. And the outhouse was excellent as well.
We will absolutely be back!

BOOK IT NOW!! this was the highlight of our cross country trip so far! We considered staying at Michigan’s sand dunes but we tired of staying in large campgrounds and tried Jason’s spot. Let me tell you it was beautiful, inclusive and homie. This place is an absolute must if you are traveling through Indiana. Can’t wait to return one day.
