We camped at the new property these hosts are moving to, and it was wonderful! It's close to the old location for anyone who has stayed with them in the past, and I highly recommend seeing the new place when it goes online. Great riverfront views, and the spot we picked is nestled down next to a creek which makes for a perfect sleep soundtrack. We'll be back again!

We had a lovely stay! Nikki was very friendly and accommodating and the property is lovely. The site by the river happened to be flooded while we were there so we stayed on the upper bank. It was an easy fix and a very nice site.

Brokedown Palace Riverside Camping
We camped 3 days and didn’t want to leave! We stayed down on one of the 3 river sites. It’s beyond gorgeous down there. Easy river access, complete tree coverage and flat space for your tent. Our hosts were so kind and helpful. Easy conversation and totally our type of people. There’s a friendly outdoor cat, 2 goats you can see up on the ridge and a flock of sweet chickens. We will definitely be back!!

We had such a wonderful and peaceful time. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Campsites are secluded and right close to the river with access to the river. Very clean and organized. Highly recommend this little slice of paradise and we will be back.

Lovely river setting and helpful, sweet hosts.
We enjoyed the evening we spent there. Easy to set up in a level spot in our Eurovan. Picnic table great for our meals. Extra clean ports potty.
Heads up: bring your own water.

Brokedown Palace Riverside Camping
We had such a lovely stay! We camped by the river, went tubing on the river and our host helped us load in with her golf cart. Pretty. Quiet. Tubing was so fun!

A wonderful weekend was had by all! We were greeted by Nikki and given a tour of the property via golf cart, which was awesome. The site was tidy, spacious, and overlooking the Tippecanoe River which was peaceful. We opted out of tubing, but only because we had a small pup with us. But it certainly was good to know that tubing is an option AND that they allow dogs! We really enjoyed the property as well as the town of Winamac….relaxing stay, cute goats, gracious hosts, 10/10

Brokedown Palace Group River Camp
What a gem! We had the property all to ourselves which made it extra special. Originally planned on staying on one of the river side sites but with all the rain that was a no go. Ended up staying closer to the road but under trees in case of rain and needed shade for the kids and dogs. Nikki showed us around upon arrival and fogged the area for us because of the mosquitoes after all the rain. We did end up buying more fogger at the Ace which was right down the street and they didn't bother us much after that. I do suggest ear plugs if you stay closer to the road due to the construction on the medical building across the way which is no fault on Nikki. This is my new favorite camp spot and cant wait to go back again! Thanks Nikki

Brokedown Palace Riverside Camping
Would highly recommend! After a day of tubing, this was the perfect spot to rest for the night. Host was very friendly and accommodating!

In town, but amazingly quiet. First morning we were surrounded by woods, two deer to the east checking us out while we watched a couple dozen geese float down the river. We didn't see that much wildlife in two state parks, one national park, and a fish and wildlife area that we visited on our trip.
Our hosts were amazing, friendly and accommodating, happy to help me out with a mistake I made! The community area with grill, fire pit, benches and chairs was excellent, we will pack less on our next visit. The cat was seldom seen but friendly, and the chickens let us know they were there, but gave us really delicious eggs in exchange.
We are excited to come back to stay again when the river isn't so high to get some fishing and floating in!
