Welcome to Whispering Pines, a family focused campground to help you get away from the daily grind. Surround yourself amongst tall pine trees as you hear the wind whisper tranquility all around you. We are a family owned campground with a heart to serve people and provide a peaceful environment where families and individuals can enjoy making new memories. Whispering Pines is an event and retreat center that offers lodging and camping amenities. We also have a chapel ready to host your ceremony. We have RV hookups, tent sites, cabins, a lodge, and an event center. We can help you create a package to fit your needs and budget.

Our cabins offer one full size bed with a set of bunk beds or two individual twin beds (sleeping 4, but we can accommodate a maximum 6 for an extra charge). They also include a mini fridge, microwave, table and 4 chairs, shelf with hanging rod. Every cabin includes a fire ring to make your meals or yummy smores. You supply your own bedding and pillows. Our campground offers several items for purchase to make your stay more enjoyable such as wood, smores kits, water, ice and more.

Our parking pads are also equipped with a fire ring and picnic table. Your family will enjoy our beautiful walking trail that surrounds our campground. Pick up the scavenger hunt sheet in the office and find some goodies on your walk! Restrooms with showers are also close by.

We offer 17 spacious, flat, grassy campsites scattered throughout our scenic pine forest, as well as a large community campsite perfect for families looking to camp together, accommodating up to 24 people. You'll love our walking trail that circles the campground, featuring an exciting scavenger hunt for everyone to enjoy. Restrooms and showers are conveniently nearby. Our fantastic playground and sandbox will keep the kids entertained for hours, and the Game Room, equipped with ping pong, foosball, and air hockey, is just steps away from your campsite. Explore the nearby rivers and canal for walking trails, fishing, kayaking, and more! Don't forget to check out all the charming attractions in our small town!

Modern Cabins

Wonderful venue for people with young kids. They have a playground on site. Plenty of fire pits for the all important s’mores. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Cabins do get very cold in colder weather so get warmer blankets if you run cold. Just a suggestion for the hosts maybe a space heater for winter time. Great place to stay!

It is a well kept place, very nice and quiet with clean showers and toilets. Has lots of activities for kids and would recommend it to anyone.

We got there as soon as it started getting dark and had to leave early the next morning, so we didn’t get to do any exploring. But it was a nice quiet and safe place for our family to stay.

A beautiful, serene location. Away from everything, exactly what we were looking for. . Only one other RV was there. The birds sounded lovely. Would definitely return and recommend. Cool space to rent for a reunion, or wedding.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at Whispering Pines. The host's were attentive, friendly and gracious. Our neighbors, the campers next to us were just as awesome. The amenities were clean and the water pressure in the shower was unexpectedly powerful and hot in a good way! This would be a lovely venue for a wedding, group trip or reunion or for campers like us just taking a road trip.

We had such a wonderful experience camping at Whispering Pines! The owners were so sweet and friendly! Our site was very clean and easy to access. So many options for a night's stay from RV camping to tent camping to cottages and even a retreat/wedding center. The hosts have created such a beautiful place! We will definitely be back when we are in the area again! Five Star Stay!!
