Hungry World Farm is a nonprofit 175 acre farm that inspires and educates people on the benefits of regenerative agriculture. Our farm is located in Central Illinois about 2 hours west of Chicago along I-80, 45 minutes north of Peoria, and 35 minutes from Starved Rock State Park. The beautiful topography includes bluffs, valley, Plow Creek, 100 acres of forest, and over 50 acres of pasture, market garden, crops, barns, playground, nature preserve, animals, playground, commercial kitchen, outdoor wood-fired pizza oven, and a produce packing center. Uniquely, for many years the farm was an Intentional Community and has 10+ Airbnb rentals with additional building, glamping tents, RV and camping sites. Our market garden and livestock operations provide delicious and nutrient dense food to thousands of people every year. So many of our guests just need an escape, from traffic, from electronics, from the things that keep their families from being together. We provide a uniquely, peaceful and unforgettable experience, where they can walk through the woods, pet the animals, dig their hands in the soil, and gaze at the stars. Here are some things we offer: 1. Wood Fired Pizza Nights, Friday nights from 5 - 8pm with some live music 2. Breakfasts on the Farm, Saturday 8:30 - 10am 3. Peaceful Overnight Stays for up to 35 guests in a variety of lodging including Cabin, Apartments, Retreat Center, RV spots, Glamping & Camping Available. These can be booked via the Hungry World Farm Website directly for special requests, as well as Airbnb, and Hipcamp. 4. Tours of the Farm Garden, Homestead Animals, Farmstead Livestock, with special focus on Regenerative Farming & forest and prairie Conservation 5. Volunteer Opportunities - to garden, build, raise animals, conserve pastures and forests, and build trails. 6. Workshops - Gardening, Homesteading, And Regenerative Agriculture Workshops including IVCC extension classes. 7. Groups of visitors holding Reunions, Youth events, Groups, special retreats, and wedding parties are welcome! 8. People can also buy farm produce at the Peoria Riverfront Market, May - September, and may be able to purchase value added products at the farm. 20 Foot King Bed Glamping Tent
The farm is awesome, and Sam is a outstanding host. Everyone on the farm went above and beyond to show us around and answer any questions. We stayed in the 20 ft tent, it was super spacious and comfortable, with your own private fireplace right outside. Clean bathroom and shower. There’s good fishing in the canal nearby, northern, bass, and especially catfish. 5 stars awesome place to stay.

This tent was absolutely perfect! The farm is an absolute gem, such amazing people and a fantastic spot for an adventure away from home! Would absolutely recommend this site and return!

We had a wonderful time here and can’t wait to come back! The land is beautiful and fun to explore. The farm’s mission was exciting to learn about and see in action. We had our infant and dog with us and they both had a great stay. Thanks again, Sam!

16 Foot Forest Glamp Tent
Must visit!
This is an absolute must! We stayed in the 16ft tent with a 4yr old and 6yr old. We hiked early morning at starved rock which was about 40 min away but time went by quickly! Then we went to the tent by 5 and Sam gave us a tour at 630 which was very educational and entertaining for the kids! We then went back to our tent in the woods and had a family bonfire. Location is clean and very welcoming! Our main goal was to see the stars and it was absolutely beautiful! Thank you again Sam for your amazing hospitality!

Amazing hosts, wonderful tent
We had an incredible time, Sam and everyone at the farm is very kind and they have an incredible mission. The tent itself is clean and comfortable, we loved that it was nestled in the woods. The area where the tent is located feels very clean and organized. We had an incredible stay and Sam was very helpful to accomodate us with 2 kids. The tent IS doable with 2 small kids! Honestly, we plan to return monthly and are eager to watch this farm grow.

Lovely
Lovely hilltop spot. Wonderful little hike in the woods down to the farm to see the goats. My son loves animals. This was wonderful for him. The tent space was so clean and comfortable. Thank you.
