Amazing views
Hipcampers say this spot has amazing views.
A Hidden Gem- Get ready to immerse at our securely gated, spacious farm property surrounded by towering mountains. You'll stay active- theres a lot of walking around! Ditch light polluted Honolulu and truly disconnect at an affordable price and get off the beaten path to learn and participate in farming activities. Hear crashing waves and see hundreds of stars at night. Retreaters will have access to very basic amenities- clean cold hose showers and flush toilets. Interact with locals and other retreaters while truly surrounding yourself in a tropical jungle atmosphere! There will not usually be someone physically present to check you in so we have made Google Doc instructions for arrival and finding the bathrooms. As part of your visit to Kaluanui (the sacred land you'll be staying on),  we will be doing a traditional Hawaiian greeting and short tour of the property. We then will spend a short time doing a malama aina (caring for the land) based project. We will hold these mon/tue/wed/thur at 3:30pm under the white tent in the pavilion area. When you are getting closer to your arrival date please consider the above stated meeting times and notify us which time will work for you. Please plan to attend at your earliest convenience. If you have more questions you can text our program coordinator at 8084294988. Recommended to bring: flashlight mosquito repellent shoes camera! Your stay includes: a 7 minute nature walk to community bathrooms and cold hose showers, a safe peaceful space in the community with nearby fruiting trees and bushes, and access to a semi private sandy beach, (perfect for sunset), a 15 minute stroll away. There are martial arts classes occurring on the property mon-fri until about 9-930 pm, so if you see some lights and people as you enter do not worry. There are sometimes events on the weekends on property so I will notify if that is the case. As there will likely not be someone physically there, we have made detailed self check in instructions on a Google Doc ! Please read our instructions carefully and please reach out to the host if you have any questions.

The Hideaway
Truly a Family-Friendly Hideaway
We recently did an overnight van camp along with our dogs. The site was tucked away with a beautiful mauka view, but bathrooms and shower were still easily accessible. As noted in another review, the ranch did have some gunfire during the afternoon, but they were quiet after 4:00. Ended up being a very relaxing night, which you cannot always say about camping on Oahu! 🤙

The Great Lawn
Great views, safe, a lot of space!
Staying at Mason's camp site for two nights was a great experience. We were in need of a safe place to stay overnight and this campsite perfectly fit the bill. Despite having to contend with some mosquitoes, the overall experience was excellent. The campsite was easy to find, offered wonderful views, and provided a good amount of privacy. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful camping experience. Thanks Mason!

Mountain View
Great view and peaceful
We had a campervan and stayed on the property at the Mountain View site. It was very beautiful, and everything was as described. Recommend bringing a mosquito net and bug spray.

Star Camp
Great mountain views!
Beautiful camping next to the mountains, the neighbours have horses and we saw a wild pig! Hike to the waterfall is worth it, walk further up or down the beach for a swim than where the road pops out. As stated cold showers and outdoor toilets makes for a great camp.
