Welcome to our off-grid glamping rental in beautiful Naalehu! Deep within the lush and remote agricultural landscapes of Hawaii, our food forest thrives, with its vibrant tapestry of over 100 varieties of tropical fruits, nuts, canoe plants, veggies, herbs, and medicinal plants. Surrounded on all sides by cattle fields, our secluded 8 acre property and farm is the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature. The farm and cottages are 100% solar powered and ensuring an eco friendly stay. Throughout the farm, sustainable practices are followed and Permaculture techniques are employed to maximize natural resources and minimize waste, creating a self-sustaining ecosystem that thrives without the need for chemical pesticides or fertilizers. When it's time to unwind, step outside onto your private deck and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the top of Mauna Loa, the Ka'u Coastline, Kilauea Volcano, the Pacific Ocean and lush Hawaiian landscape. You'll also find a small outdoor seating area, where you can relax and soak up the sun, take in the expansive view, or gaze at the stars. The cottages are powered by solar energy and have an eco-friendly outdoor shower and washing station, and porta potty. We supply fresh and filtered spring water for drinking. Our glamping site is located on a private 8-acre property situated on the luscious east side of the Big Island. You'll be surrounded by a vibrant tropical oasis, teeming with wildlife and native flora. Take a guided edible farm tour, hike through the surrounding food forest, take a bike ride on our road with the best views on the island, or an off-road excursion to the Green Sand Beach. Your site includes a raised circular platform— perfect for pitching a tent, stargazing, or for sunrise yoga as the coastline and volcanic mountains unfold before you. A short walk away, you’ll find the essentials with a touch of magic: a hot outdoor shower beneath the open sky, a hand-washing station, and a nearby porta potty. Guests are also welcome to gather in our open-air dining area, where tables, chairs, and sweeping panoramas create the perfect setting for meals or quiet reflection. By night, the land comes alive: cattle graze in the distance, coqui frogs sing, stars spill across the sky, and on some fiery evenings, you may even glimpse the glow of the Kilauea volcano on the horizon. UNBELIEVABLE views. Really an escape from it all. 5 min to great restaurant (southernmost US restaurant!) and incredible bakery (Malasadas!) Really comfy bed, clean outhouse, shower and sink. Can’t recommend high enough!

There are covered one rooms with bed and battery pack for low use charging and a light. There is an outdoor shower and portable potty. Brian (local) watches the place and is with intersting stories and island guide if you inquire. Great off the beaten path for travels on the south side with easy close access to 11 and around 30 minutes to south point and slightly further to the Kilauea. Great sunrise and view of volcanos in distance !!

The Property is Amazing... Such a huge area with Beautiful Sunrise and you can see the Plume of the volcano. It is about a 40 minute drive to volcano national park.. The cabanas were clean and cute.. a definite hippy vibe... Shower is hot and bed was comfortable at butterfly pea... I wish I knew that they were not offering dinners there... I guess they are selling the food truck.. But the forage tour was so much fun!! Over all a Great Experience. Would come again... Mahalo 🌺

Had a wonderful stay at the property. Great location with incredible views, all the needed amenities and a very comfortable bed that allowed us to feel fully immersed in the Hawaiian outdoors. Very helpful and communicative hosts and I would 100% recommend this property. Thank you for a great stay! P.S. The farm tour is totally worth it.

The pictures really don't do justice to the views you get here. Easily the best views of anywhere I stayed during my trip, unfortunate I was only there for one night. Jasmine came to greet me, showed me around the site and dropped off some bananas from the farm. Cabin is comfortable and very relaxing, and the outdoor shower is both warm and has great water pressure. The stargazing is incredible when the weather cooperates. Excellent food and coffee options just down the hill. Yeah, just an overall excellent location. Highly recommend.

Wow, we feel so lucky we stayed here! The farm has incredible views of the ocean, mountains, even the distant volcano! The cottage was comfy and spacious with a power station to power lights and charge devices. Hot outdoor shower was a plus. The farm tour was fascinating and the fruits were delicious. Jasmine and Justin are amazing hosts. You can tell they’ve put a ton of work and love into the farm. We’ll be back soon!

A Magical Evening
Butterfly Pea Coastal Cabana
What a delight this space was! Tucked into a rugged landscape at the top of a hill overlooking a majestic view, this comfortable glamping space was the perfect place to rest after a day of exploring the Big Island. We enjoyed the outdoor shower, which had plenty of hot water, and natural stones under our feet. We fell asleep to the sound of coqui frogs and the soft breeze rustling through the giant leaves of the surrounding trees, and were even fortunate enough to be there for a full moon, so could watch the it rise through the screen windows and illuminate the hilltop and ocean below. Truly a magical experience! The farm itself is a veritable Garden of Eden, with countless different fruits and flora to explore. And the hosts are so kind and welcoming, they truly made us feel at home - not to mention their adorable dog and charming two kitties! Highly recommended!

Absolutely, hands down, the most lovely glamping experience I've ever had. The drive up was gorgeous, good road for most of the way, and we were greted by the most beautiful cows and horses. We arrived at sunset for the incredible ocean view, which even included mysterious sparkling vocanic fire across the valley,. We were greeted by Brian and given fresh fruit and a welcome Aloha! Next time I hope to add more time so I can do the farm tour. Special place and very nice people. Mahalo Jasmine, I'll be back.

We loved the glamping experience at the butterfly pea cottage! Coming up the road past the rainbow eucalyptus, and baby horses and cows to the awesome views at the cottage! We loved the hammock at sunrise and the mid morning edible farm tour was incredible! Nice hot showers were a big plus! I highly recommend staying here.

We absolutely loved our stay at the farm! The property boasts the most incredible views—be sure to wake up for the sunrise! The cabin was very private, clean, and spacious, with an extremely comfortable bed. The hot outdoor shower was such a treat! We would definitely love to stay here again!

We loved our stay at the Opihi Coastal View Cottage! Jasmine was responsive via text and answered all our questions, and we were able to find the place easily when we arrived after dark. The cottage was spacious and clean, and we were immersed in the sounds of crickets and coqui frogs as we fell asleep. The shower was warm and wonderful, and the property was spectacular. This was our first night on our 6-day motorcycle tour of the island, and it was an excellent start to our trip. We would definitely stay here again!

This is such a magical place! The grounds on which the tent is are very secluded and somewhat on top of a hill. You can experience a beautiful sunrise here as well as one of the best showers I've had in a while. (Outdoor shower). Very happy I stayed here

We had a great time at the cabana! Jasmine answered right away when we got there and gave us all the info we needed. The view was gorgeous. Definitely wake up for sunrise if you can. The food truck wasn’t open while we were there but the menu looked yummy. It was super quiet and just what we needed!
