E komo mai! You are looking at a small cultural arts exchange playhouse in the making and HC guests are helping pave (without the pavement!) the way to creating artist residencies. Willing guests may have a work trade opportunity as well... The land itself is nestled in a quiet corner of a very accessible jungle neighborhood where you might see cats sunbathing next to baby boars, dogs walking down the street with chickens and generations of vehicles ranging from the rusty '74 Ford with ferns growing out of it to the freshly waxed BMW... There's a lot of sun and a lot of rain! It's the Hawaiian jungle. No predators/poisonous things to worry about. The free bus stops at the neighborhood entrance - that's also a worthwhile journey on its own. 5 min drive to secret steam vent sauna (sh!!) 10 min drive to Pahoa town - our funky fringe capital of the island where you can happily address all needs, obtain all amenities and eat anything from natural foods to Popeye's. 8 min drive to beach walk, Uncle Robert's Kava Lounge and local events spot, Kaimu, & our rad, rad Saturday Market 15 min drive to Kahena Beach (black sand, clothing optional) 20 min drive to Kalani Retreat (ecstatic dance Sunday mornings) 35 min drive to Pohoiki - hot ponds and lagoonsThis site is amongst towering avocado trees. While quiet and private, you can see a view of the neighboring structure which will soon be available to rent as well. *At the moment, there is a one-person tent. You are welcome to bring any size tent you like. I really loved this quiet and warm place. And although I didn’t use all benefits of it, I would definitely come back one day. Location is great, everything like is in description. Molly is really responsive and dialogue was very helpful for me. Thank you!

Vermont Farmhouse

Rustic Riverside Farmhouse

This was the perfect spot for our fall vacation! Molly was hands off and gave us privacy but ensured we had everything we needed. The kitchen is updated so you are definitely able to make meals here if you want/need to. Honey, tea and coffee was available for our stay. She even had a little cabinet of board games, easy piano sheet music, extra slippers, and magazines featuring local attractions. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rustic Riverside Farmhouse

We loved our time at Molly’s farmhouse! It was super cute and quaint with all of the necessary amenities. There is only a bathtub to wash off in, just to warn in case you would like a full shower. However the bathtub worked perfectly fine for us! I would 100% recommend staying here if you would like a cozy mountain getaway!

Rustic Riverside Farmhouse

Our stay at Molly’s Riverfront Farmhouse was one of our most delightful trips ever! Molly and Will are wonderfully thoughtful and considerate hosts. The property is wild but picturesque and approachable.Masses of flowers and foliage up on the mountain, rushing River filled with huge boulders, and the little road lined with tiny shiny stones and towering trees. Herons and hawks. Hummingbirds everywhere! Beautiful views. A bit of paradise. The house is so gorgeous, with cool rustic details and a strange old history! It’s primitive and artistic. It’s full of stylish, authentic antiques and vintage whimsy. It’s Rustic country gracious , with modern amenities where I appreciate them. Think full modern kitchen with great appliances, and vintage luxury bathroom with organic soaps. Really loved the soft comfortable new organic beds and comfy vintage linens provided. The finished basement space is a whole other huge living area,
