I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone, not even to come ride horses or see their petting zoo. Especially don't ever come here to camp! This is a BIG safety hazard! We reserved a tent site but when we came here there was not a tent site around! The grounds were not kept up at all. The spot the two guys took us to was horrible and had a junk metal pile right in the middle of the area. Not to mention the two guys were drinking and operating a motor vehicle on site with children playing around. Then they proceed to tell us " we wanna give you a heads up we will be shooting guns later" wow that's not cool at all. Drunk guys shooting guns at a campsite. We immediately left to go find another place. Don't waste your time trying to camp here! I'm doing everything I can to talk with hipcamp to have this site banned from their platform and contacting the county as well. It's a shame people are like this. I know I'll never see my money I spent on this place but that was a good $20 spent to know to never come back and warn others not to come here as well.

Cornelia, host Roxy and staff Mark are all super nice. The animals are happy and sweet. Our 2 large dogs had a great time. There was plenty of room for our 40ft RV and parking for our trailer. The electric and water were fine. It was very peaceful at night. It's also close to several stores. I highly recommend!

It was amazing to stay at a location where the farm animals free roam! Seeing all the piggies and goats and chickens all around my bus all day was an experience i will be telling everyone about!! The site itself was nice, Electric and water hookups were good! Would definitely stay again!!

This place is amazing! You’re on the farm with all the farm animals roaming around! What could be better! The camp hosts were amazing and sooo helpful! ! We will be back!

We used this host as a place to stay while we visited friends, we didn’t have to shower or anything to do with the water. It has a sulfur smell, our filter helped. The camp host was extremely nice and helpful, the animals are fun to see and they had baby pigs and goats that my wife loved. The lots are close together but are easy to get in and out of.

If you like rustic, ranch based camping this is your place. You will be visited by chicken of all sort and potbelly pigs. They have goats, emu, rabbits, peacocks and of course horses.

I loved almost everything about this place. I loved how the animals roamed free. I loved being able to walk up and pet the horses. We even went horseback riding while we were there. The location was great, everyone we met was really nice.
The one and only thing that bugged me ( but I laughed it off multiple times a day) was the porta pottys! Why, oh why did they have to be right next to our site? I mean we literally opened our front door and the porta pottys were right there! It was weird, since there were other places they could have been located.
Other than that, it was a really cool place, and I would go back again, even if the porta pottys were still there. I just wanted other people to be prepared for them.

A peaceful and friendly place (the animals too -smile). While there is only one hipcamp spot, there are other RVs on the farm. Cornelia and Calvin are Southernly hospitable, but very busy as it is a working farm and stable. The camp hosts, Bill and Courtney are there too and very reliable.

My kids loved the animals and getting to horseback ride! Everyone there was very friendly. It is a more bare bones type of campsite and when we first got there we couldn’t find anyone and weren’t sure where to go or what to do

This Hipcamp has a lot of potential and helped us put in a pinch. We were supposed to stay somewhere else and it was cancelled. This was the next best option. There was some confusion when we pulled in as our spot had been taken by a boondocker. That was sorted and we were able to get hooked up. Our welcome wagon was a bunch of kids. I have a kid so I didn’t mind but it was weird to have them showing us around. Had to trust that they knew the ropes. We never were greeted by the host and given any instructions. Most of the campground is people who live there full time and they were extremely sweet There was a lot of trash and animal poo all throughout the area. Potbelly pigs and goats roam free all day. It’s fun but dirty. The smell of the water is overpowering. I felt woozy taking a shower. Overall we were glad to move on.

Super suspicious and uncomfortable camp ground. The shower was a hose that smelled like sulfur. We got locked out of the campsite at 10 pm. People walking around with guns hanging out of their pockets. We didn’t even get checked in?! Super super weird we left the same night we got there to stay in a hotel.

Tamiami Trails Camping - Site 2
Tamiami Trails is well organized and was easy to park our camper trailer. Chris greeted us with a smile as we arrived and helped us navigate how to get set up. While we didn't have much time on our trip to walk around the farm, we were able to observe the beautiful horses as the staff cared for them -- preparing them for riding lessons. It was fun to see the goats in the pasture as well as the other animals on the farm. Our stay was simple and easy; we'd definitely stay again. :-)

Established horse riding and petting zoo is great-Animals are in excellent shape and staff is very friendly!!! This a newly developing camping area. Very basic ! Quiet, peacefull, stars at night shine bright. Portaloo and outdoor shower. The animals and staff make this place wonderful !!!!

We loved it. Kids had a blast and loved all the animals. My daughters dream since she was little has been to go horse back riding and she got to for 3 hours there. Will definitely be back

We called and texted Cornelia several times before arriving. She never responded. We never had contact with anyone except two teenagers telling us we could park anywhere. The area was trashy. Sulphuric water was stinky! There are no signs at the road that says anything about camping.

Kids loved it. Open sand for tent camping, and lots of places for the kids to explore. This is a working farm and the farm hands are working before 7am, and there are roosters that crow early. Our kids are early risers, so it didn't bother us.

The sites weren’t clearly marked and some full-timers were spilling over into nearby sites. No one in charge was available to help us know where to set up camp or answer questions so we ended up sandwiched between an RV and the extremely full port-o-john. The nearby road noise was way more than anticipated and since it’s a working farm trackers drove by our tent by 7am. We never found the communal fire. The upside was my kids thought the animals were cute. If you’re in an RV, with your own self contained bathroom and kitchen, you’d probably have a fine experience.

This campsite was so awesome being close to the farm animals. Everyone there is super friendly and we got to play with the animals and ride horses the whole time. We got fresh eggs there from their chickens which was pretty cool too. There was a lot of rvs there we were the only ones staying in a tent. The only thing is it’s really close to the highway so we could hear the road all night. Other than that we loved it!

We brought our 33ft camper trailer to this spot and we had a blast alot of stuff to do like horse back riding and petting all the animals, great for the whole family, and very good at the price, the down fall is no dump station, so hold your poop, lol

Stayed 6 nights. The camp is a working farm (which is not a problem) it is very dusty with road noise. The shower is a three sided fenced in area outside. (I didn't use the shower although I'm told there is on demand hot water) What's nice is the water albeit it was sulfur water that did not taste good or smell good. The electricity is also nice. The electrical hook-ups need a 30 amp adapter. I paid for a dozen eggs and only 11 eggs were available. (not complaining about the one egg, just saying) No fault of their own there was loud music past midnight which could be heard from the neighbors. With a bit more work this will be a nice hip camp. We will try it again next year with a shorter stay.

I absolutely loved it there. The people are so nice there. I couldn't ask for a better environment very peaceful and calming. They are really really making this place a wonderful place to be all the time. All the upgrades they have 30 amp outlets for camping make sure if you're in a 50 amp that you bring that 30 amp conversion it's completely worth it. I can't wait to see what's in store for them. Keep up the good work team.
