What an awesome place! We were welcomed by Donna who showed us to our site. After we setup she gave us a tour of the place and we were introduced to Daniel. They have thought of everything (outdoor kitchen with anything you could possibly need, shower, bathrooms, mini fridge, music stage, etc). Everyone we met on property was beyond nice and extremely welcoming. The property is setup so that you have plenty of opportunities to engage with your neighbors while also having plenty of privacy. We met some awesome people and thoroughly enjoyed relaxing outdoors. Loved the relaxed vibe and was super bummed to have to cut our trip short (because of the corona virus scare). We will definitely return as soon as we get a chance.

We are so grateful that we found this amazing camp and loving people. We arrived as strangers and left as family of the GHT. Grateful Hammock
The Grateful Hammock, Donna & Dan and all the guests were welcoming, friendly and easy going. The pictures don’t do the Grateful Hammock justice because it’s definitely a place that needs to be experienced in person and taken in for all that it is. Thank you Donna & Dan for creating the Hammock and sharing it with so many!

The Grateful Hammock was a wonderful place to bring our kids for their first camping trip with a glamping twist. The play area and tree swings were a hit. We all enjoyed the friendly community feel. They’ve really created a special place where you can feel the heart and soul that has been put into this creation. It was a fun experience all around. Donna even helped the kids get our fire stated on our campsite. Thank you!

Grateful Hammock
Loved this place! So much more than a campground. Community kitchen area, community fire pit gathering, and live music. If you need to just unload and relive your hippy days this place is a gem! My friends and I will be back for sure!

It was a refreshing reset from the hustle and bustle of life. It reminds you how much less we need to be truly happy. The owners are awesome. So welcoming. Being there was like coming home ❤️

We were warmly welcomed into the Grateful Hammock community by our hosts and the other guests. Many great conversations and hours of music around the campfire. And yet our site was in the back and gave us the privacy we were after.

The surrounding nature of the camp is a beautiful old florida oak hammock but more impressive is the kind nature of the people we encountered during our stay. It couldn't have been more welcoming and enjoyable. We will look forward to rejoining our "tribe" there soon.

Donna and Dan are some of the coolest people we have met. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived.
We found them hidden away in a Trippy Hippy Hideaway with a very fitting name Grateful Hammock.
As you walk around you discover swings, hamocks, a community firepit and a place for like minded people to gather, chill, and listen to good music. We are going in a couple weeks again to see some live music. Next time we will stay a couple of weeks and really have time to relax.
After only a couple of days, i am more relaxed than I have been in years.
If you are a Trump fan, you would be best served and the many other campgrounds but for us this place is Paradise!

Every good thing you’ve heard about Grateful Hammock is true. We had a great time and can’t wait to return, next time for a multi day stay! Donna and Dan are fantastic hosts and all the people staying there were kind and cool. Highly recommended for any and all freaky, friendly and/or furry folks. ☮️ ❤️

Nothing about my stay was not memorable! The environment we so fun and interesting, but what really makes the experience is the people. Everyone there was incredibly kind and welcoming! I absolutely cant wait for my next trip to the hammock to see my new friends.

This was an excellent place to visit! Everyone was very friendly and they had pretty much everything you might need for a comfortable stay. It is also a beautiful setting under the oak trees.

Very groovy place! So nice to sit around a roaring campfire with new friends listening to great music and telling funny stories. The kitchen brings folks together over a cup of coffee or a hot meal. Lots of fun activities for kids and adults alike. The whole place is like a funky art gallery which teleports you back to the 60’s at a time when we all need more peace and love.

Great place to check out. Very different from anyother place i have been to. It was a lot of fun and everyone that was there was great. The only thing that would have been better is if someone was playing music but that just would have been a bonus. Thanks for a great time.

Dan and Donna have created something magical with the Grateful Hammock. The rest of the tribe contribute to keeping it magical every day! I didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return next month! You’ll never find a better place or a better group of people anywhere. I left feeling like family. If you love nature, friendly four legged lap surfers and the company of like minded people, this is the only place you need to stay.

Staying at the Grateful Hammock was an amazing experience. Donna and Dan are extremely welcoming and all around awesome human beings. Being able to sit around a communal fire every night and bond with everyone there made the visit even better. I especially loved the jam session night. I feel like I’m forever part of a big family.

The Grateful Hammock far exceeded our expectations! Donna and Dan are so warm and welcoming and just really awesome people.
Our family of 6 (kids aged 10-15) stayed here for 5 days and we only have positive things to say. There is so much to do, see and hear. There was plenty for kids and adults of all ages to enjoy. The community they have created is full of beautiful people and truly something special. The outdoor kitchen and central area is so cool and the way they light up the forest at night is truly magical.
We so look forward to spending more time here in the near future!

This trip exceeded all expectations! My boyfriend and I had our plans changed for New Years and we already had a tent in our car so we googled tent camping and found the grateful Hammock. Donna and Daniel were amazing hosts and everything you could ever need is available to you. Great people and a great time! We will absolutely be back! ✌🏻
