Sticks and Stones Farm was originally purchased by Tim Currier in the 70's. Over the years, he created what is now an amazing and unique property known for it's peaceful, natural setting nestled within suburban USA. You truly feel transported to a place like Vermont as soon as you enter the property.  Currently, the property is being leased and operated by the non-profit Love Has a Home, Inc. Our goal is to provide a space for individuals to reconnect to themselves, to nature, and to all living things. We believe connection is key to a more peaceful world.

    Camping in Peace
    Summit Cabin at Sticks and Stones
    A supremely peaceful Hipcamp, Sticks and Stones Farm has been the most enjoyable Connecticut, camping experience for my husband and I so far. The property had much to explore: expansive views from comfortable lodging, hiking trails, ponds, rock sculptures, and even a meditative labyrinth. Sticks and Stones Farm was beautiful and unique with fantastic amenities that any camper would appreciate. The outdoor shower built within hulking, massive boulders was refreshing after a day of play on the property. The screened-in, outdoor kitchen was both convenient and essentially supplied to cook a great meal. Watching the sunset while dining al fresco was certainly a highlight during our two night stay. Our lodging was clean, comfortable, and forest-immersive. After spending many days in the city, this time in the woods was invaluable. Thank you to our wonderful host, Bill, for a setting us up for a stellar stay! We appreciate your genuine hospitality, and look forward to our next visit.

    Mt. Laurel Cabin at Sticks & Stones
    Sticks & Stones is absolutely the best. Private, quiet, beautiful and unique. Quite rustic but clean and comfortable.
